As part of my personal campaign to get this game selling, this is my third deal for Little King's Story and this is the cheapest price on or offline that I could find. None of the deals I have found so far for this have reached hot status, but this is a great price for a game considered to be one of the best available on Wii.

I'm after this myself - might have to have a trip to Tesco. Am sure I have some Clubcard points I could use towards it, too :)

Cheapest I can see online is £26.99, so it's HOT from me :)
#2
Hot from me, as it is meant to be good and no one has posted a cheaper price. As for me, I think I will wait until there is a bit of a price drop on it!

I bought this from Tesco the day I posted this deal and I'd have to agree it's really good and addictive

Also £24.99 at Blockbuster if there are still any places in the UK without a Tesco nearby http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/400671/little-kings-story-at-24-99-at-bloc

Props to you for pushing this game - it looks excellent. Unfortunately 3rd party titles, no matter how good, just don't seem to sell well on the Wii (although Nintendo don't seem to give a monkeys.........) - there will probably be a sub-£20 price for this before too long.

I find it really sad to see Zack and Wiki, No More Heroes, Okami etc in the £10 or less bargain bins, whilst lesser quality titles like Mario & Sonic @ the Olympics hold their price for years after release. Seems most folks don't know their ar$e from their elbow when it comes to quality games. Damn shame.

it's good if you like RPG etc, no reason to say it's pants though! i for one won't be buying it. I don't like any of the Mario games either, so they're hardly the best on the Wii... Resident Evil 4, now we're talking! lol
#9
Isn`t this game a bit like The Emporers New Clothes just like LBP!?
#10
Can you use double clubcard points on computer games?

No it's really different from those. It's actually quite difficult to describe, but the closest related game is probably Pikmin.

ill be downloading this, not paying £25 for a wii game -mental.

So people who want to pay for a high quality game rather than steal it = mental?

At least have the guts to shoplift if you're going to nick other peoples work.

This is an excellent game with great production values and dozens of hours of gameplay. The game oozes quality. Probably the best game I've played this year on any format.

Sorry, but why should Nintendo give a monkeys ? It's not their fault third party games don't sell; it's the consumers. In fact, I seem to remember the official Nintendo site having a section for LKS. In other news, Ubisoft's 'Petz' series has sold over 3 million in Europe... I blame the parents.

Regarding what Little King's Story is most related to, it seems to be a mixture of Pikmin, Dungeon Keeper and Actraiser (SNES game), and is apparently one of the longest games on the Wii. I've also seen reviews state that calling it a Pikmin clone is unfair, so it shouldn't be boiled down to that.

P.S. I haven't bought it yet as I'm broke... already got Madworld this month and several DS titles. As usual, this site is a blessing... and a curse ;)

Haven't heard of this game before, thanks

No worries :) It's the first game I've bought on Wii in ages. In fact I was actually thinking of selling my Wii, but this will keep me going for some time and with Motionplus and the promise of realistic Tennis and Golf at last then I might just hang in there

The gameplay is very unique, if you want to know more

there is some fantastic impressions there that tell you all about the game through a gamers eyes (not reviewers).

This IS one of the top 5 games on Wii and is so far my game of the year.

Game of the year, a must buy, get it now.

Nintendo should worry that 3rd party titles are not selling well, as outside studios are the only ones producing decent 'gamers' titles for the Wii at the moment. If third party titles don't sell, there won't be any more made - and if that happens, Nintendo will find that they have lost their core audience completely. This may not be a problem at the moment, but come the next generation, are all those grannies going to be investing in the Wii 2?

Note to Nintendo: no matter how big you get, or how far you go, don't forget where you came from!:whistling:

I had kind of let this one pass me by as I had not been keeping up with Wii releases (busy playing Chinatown Wars on the DS). Thanks for the heads up and I'll definitely be having a closer look at this one. Looks like a good deal too.

Why does IGN only have an Australian review, when it's already out here?!?!?

Or you can order the game from gameplay and get 9% quidco which makes the game to be £24.56 with free delivery. Just incase you dont want to waste money on petrol...just a suggestion really.
