[thanks very much ordered for my boys they are gonna love it, saw this in toysrus on sat they had it on display and it was £199 i couldn't afford to buy it at that price.

This trampoline is excellent for smaller children i have 3 under 3's and bought it for them last wk it is very very secure not like the ones designed for older children where you attach the netting and its all flimsy the netting on this one is pulled tight round it and theirs no way it can cave inward like ive seen on some of the others! It is also quite low to the ground my 18m old can manage to just climb on himself and climb down himself.
I had also seen it in toys r us on display for £199 and was going ot get it but they had none in stock glad i didnt now as i got it reduced to £99 from £119.99 then on 3 for 2 (so bought 2 other £100 items) ,free delivery and £10 off code :0). so total of £189 Bargain!
I would deffinately reccommend it...even ive been on it with them so it takes an adults weight!

what age is it actually suitable for?
    kitty17
Well it says 3+ but my 18m old goes on it and my sister whos 7 has been on it and my mum says she wishes she'd bought her one as sturdy as mine instead of 'an older childs one' and my niece whos 9 has been on it but shes a small 9! but ive had my 18m old my 2.5 yr old and me on at once and their was plenty of room!

my guy is 7 but small (like 5/6) and grandson is 4 but theyre similar size...i didnt want a massive thing that they could fall down the ladder etc...and i thought tikes would be safe. I went to toysrus yesterday but they have a efurb going on and no outdoor toys on display:?

i think ill just order it cos it will be a good birthday present:thumbsup:

Theirs no way they could fall out or off this one, im really pleased with it and would have paid the £199 for it as i think its deffo worh it im actually wondering if tesco have mis priced it or if it will go up in price as little tikes stuff is usually expensive! my hubbys a miserable git and moans at all they toys i buy the boys and had specifically said we were not buying a trampoline as the boys are too young and it would be dangerous for them and their an eyesaw! in the garden but even hes had to admit its a very good one! and from my hubby thats a lot to admit that i was right! lol

Dear kitty17, thanks for your posts. I have a daughter turning 6 next month, I would like to buy this trampoline for her birthday if suitable, she weighs 21 KG and is about 115 cm tall.

I am puzzled whether this is for younger children than my 6 year old, what's your view on this since you have tested the trampoline.

    Thanks in advance

I went to Toy R Us today and had a good look at this Trampoline, they had it on display, it said clearly on it that this trampoline is for 3 to 6 year olds, it said the trampoline was not recommended for children over 6. It is a very nice solid trampoline, but if the maker says its not suitable for anyone over 6 then that puts me off from buying it since my little one is 6.

Maximum weight it can handle is 45 KG, a 6 year old will weigh around 20 to 25 KG, so I am not sure why it says not suitable for over 6. Also one child allowed on it at a time, or that was the health and safety recommendation on it.

I really wanted to buy this but I want something to give us a few years and with my daughter turning 6 in a few weeks I doubt I would get much more than one year out of it.

OK adding a note to my last post, I have now ordered this trampoline from Tesco online for £80 and got £10 off with an evoucher (plus £5 delivery):

I came close to buying this Tikes 7ft but as explained in my last post the up to 6 years of age warning put me off, anyone with a 3 or 4 year old should buy this Tikes 7 ft from Tesco, if your child is over 6 years old then have a look at the one I have just ordered (for 6+)

Just ordered for £69.97 plus 6% topcashback and 158 points.
Interesting that Toysrus have now reduced theirs to £119.00 which is Tescos original price.
Also, in the USA, the recommended age is 3 to 10 years. Not sure why it's 3-6 years in the UK.
See http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=13283345 for more info and user reviews.
Interesting that the original price is $198 USD in the USA so Tesco have probably mispriced it.

On the American website, it has an age range of 3 to 10 years.
Taken from the website Q&A section...
"The box says 5-10 years old but has a sticker over it changing the age group to 3-10. It also says the weight limit is 100 lbs. I would go with the weight limit and not worry about the age. It also says 1 child at a time. Again, I would go with the weight limit, i.e. one 100-pound child or 100 1-pound children... well, you get the drift."

    A:
No, it doesn't fold up. However it is easily disassembled at the end of the season. There is very little hardware used to put it together. But taking it apart and putting it back together isn't something you would want to do daily.
