The LittleBigPlanet experience starts with players learning about their character’s powers to interact physically with the environment. There are places to explore, creative resources to collect and puzzles to solve – all requiring a combination of brains and collaborative teamwork. As soon as players begin their creative skills will grow and they will soon be ready to start creating and modifying their surroundings – the first step to sharing them with the whole community.

Great game, and good price. Good time to get your hands on it too and see what it is like as LittleBigPlanet 2 will be out in Oct/Nov.

Pretty good price. Paid this for it last year, couldn't get into it though, didn't have enough time or patience. Steven Fry's drawnout tutorials annoyed me, just wanted to jump in and work out things for myself. Worth trying at this price as you can easily get your money back on it if you don't like it.

I wonder what the uptake figures are on that, it seems like a bit of a dead loss to me.

I seem to of got so far but now it doesnt seem to let me progress further in single player. and no explanation why. Do I have to get higher scores in played levels? do certain special tasks/missions? Or do something multiplayer or online to unlock the rest of the "story". I respect the game and what some people can build with it, but I dont have the time or patience to learn the level design tools, nor do I like the online play. I just want to play it as a straight forward platformer, nothing more. What happened to the good old days of crash bandicoot?

I hate overly complex platformers, hence im no real fan of mario 64, sonic adventure 1, jak and daxter/ratchet and klank i never played but they look the same sort of thing. Call me old fashioned, but whats wrong with having a simple level selection system like that seen in the original 3 crash games and then you have a snow level, a jungle level, a lava level, a water level a boss etc. And all you have to do is collect wumpa fruits and crystals.

I didnt like luigis mansion on the GC, I got into mario sunshine for a short while but I lost interest as it became to anoyingly difficult. And to much choice of things to do, side quests, no voice acting. It all just irritates me, typical nintendo stuff. Same thing with wind waker, great when you are actually getting on with the game but then you become distracted by the side quests and get annoyed. I dont like metroid prime all that either, whats so fun about being completely alone, no human voice acting having to scan things all the time and back tracking Leave complexity out of games like that.

Dont get me wrong I love the ps1 MGS, Shenmue 1 and 2, and I respect zelda. But most of the time I just want to jump on crates, collect things, shoot things and clear the game. Lecture over

I've got 2 of about 25 people with it on my account so yeah your probably right, I probably would of gone for it but I already have LBP so I'd lose out right away, plus I've bought quite a bit off the store some I'm likely to lose out more in the future

Whilst you need to complete certain parts with 2,3 or even 4 online (or offline) players these parts are clearly marked and you can complete the game without them, you just won't get all the trophies - which if you are not into the level editor and playing the created levels you won't get all the trophies in any case. So just (a) play it (b) complete it (c) return it/ trade it in.

If you mean you are stuck at a place where you don't just have to run straight ahead, do a double jump onto a crate, smash said crate and repeat ad nauseum, you might have bitten off more than you can chew. In which case jump straight to (c) - return it/trade it in

Got mine this morning, far from NEW, completely pre-owned with stickers and marks all over it, not happy!

I hate it when that happens, seems to be happening more frequently
