maybe if dont like paying the money they ask for tickets you could support AFC LIVERPOOL recently set up by fans partly opposing the prices, you could get behind this team now and follow their success through the leagues as they have only played several matches since forming ..... HAVE A LOOK AT http://www.afcliverpool.eu/

Even though its a firendly it's Liverpool V Lazio and consdering it is hard to get hold of prem and champions league match tickets it makes it ideal for people who cannot get tickets

Might get some tickets but will probably get them next week as i go on holiday in 4 weeks so need all the money I can get

£17.50 for a Friendly?! You are joking right. COLD COLD COLD!!

I'm paying £10 a match next season with a season ticket at Middlesbrough to watch Premiership football, not a friendly.

I'm assuming for that price at Middlesbrough you get a private box, bar and food :w00t:

plastic fans dream eh?

Its a rip off for a friendly - but thetarget market is clearly armchaior fans who have never seen Liverpool play live. Most 'real' fans will give it a miss

Reminds me of a Frank Skinner story. He was at a WBA game and they were 4-0 down. A message came over the tannoy to say that "congratulations to XXX - his wife has just given birth to a baby boy". The bloke next to Skinner turned round and said, "unlucky ****** - not only has he had to watch this rubbish, but now he's got to make his own tea".

Don't agree that it will be all armchair fans at the game (prob will be a good number) but their will also be real fans their supporting their club

Most "real" fans cannot get tickets to the premiership games unless you have a season ticket then you can get the games otherwise you can much forget getting to a premier league game so the only other option is champions league but with the ever increasing fan base.

It is getting harder as more people want tickets and their are not enough tickets to go round and I did not bother going to many games last season as could not wait outside the ground from 7am just to get a ticket as work is not so commiting in letting you go so if people get the chance to see the friendly game by all means as their should be a good atmosphere with it being Lazio.

If you were an Evertonian for instance you could just go down the ground and buy a season ticket no problem as their is less demand then when you look at the current waiting list for a Liverpool one

Dont think ill bother, rather go and watch afc.

season ticket holders or fan card holders? when do they go on sale to the general public? & as for the comment about armchair supporters, most people don't have a choice - either money or demand dictates. Excellent price for dad & lad - £25, & the chance to see his team at home for the first time - priceless!! my lad will be pleased - if we manage to get tickets that is!!
#35
Watch all the new signings! hmm interesting, seems like Raffa is getting his own back on the owners and splashing loadsamoney on duff players!

That'll be that other team in Liverpool mate, you know, the one that has to advertise on the radio so people buy tickets, and still can't get a full house ;-)
#39
I'm not a Liverpool fan, but there are plenty where I work, here in South Wales. A lot of these people go regularly and don't have any problems getting tickets except for the big matches, like ManU and Everton (even these are possible if your a regular). People who say they can't get tickets are not trying hard enough. Get out of that armchair and join a supporters club or something.
