because these are so greasy you really need to roast pasta dry before use else you just get a sloppy mess
good price but nothing special imo

Best Curry from a jar
#5
I avoided the pasta ones but picked up a thai red and thai green curry and they were absolutely gorgeous.

Does this include the curry ones as well or just pasta sauce?

CONRAMINATED ?

not quite sure where that lies in the scale of "greasy" to "awesome"

Dont normally shop in Tesco but these sauces are the best (imo) and I normally wait 4 offers to restock for the next 6 mths.............So thanks very much and another 20 to 30 jars it is then.
#18
The Tesco own brand sauces are also on offer, and although the reduction isn't as big, they work out cheaper.

I bought a few of both.
#19
Got my first one of these the other day at £1, thought that was good value :)

Can anyone recommend a none tomato based on that's reasonable calorie wise?

watch out for glass in these!

#23
is this the same firm that recalled all the Morrison's own brand soups last week?
#24
Very nice, but very garlicy! Not great to eat before a night out!
#25
would never buy this sort of dirt, 1.5g of salt per 100g, shocking how they are allowed to get away with it.
#26
These are lovely but I do think they are a little greasy.
#27
Yeah I do find these a little bit oily, but that didn't stop me picking a couple up for that price!

Lol, and the OTT comment of the day goes to.......
#29
hehe may be a little over the top, but you've got watch what you eat, and these have way too much salt in them, asda's own brand for example only have 0.3g compared to these at 1.5g.

whats wrong with making your own sauces from scratch anyway? Will taste loads better.

poised and waiting for "i've got 2 kids and don't have time" comments

The recommended intake is 6g a day (though many doctors suggest 3g.)

There's enough in the 350g jar for three to four servings, so what's the problem?
#31
Do these taste better than dolmio bolagnese sauce in anybody's opinion? I quite like that sauce, I've never tried anything by the grossman.
#32
Is the Pilkington K one included in this offer?

True, thank heaven for small mercies. Most annoying bloke I've ever had to listen to, besides all politicians of course!

I prefer dolmio.. But for this price compared to dolmio they are deffinately worth it,, They are quite nice.. Especially compared to the tesco brand ones metioned above which taste like raw onion and not very tomatoey ..
#37
Are these the normal size??? if so they are now £1 each at Asda...
