when i goto the deal its £19.99. how do you get it for £10?
#2
I'm getting Introductory Offer Price: Was £39.99 Now £19.99
Am I missing something here?

Aslo it looks like you shove this up your nose, which would almost certainly help reduce the affects of hayfever imo.
#3
Says £10 on mine. These are supposed to be really good, you stick the prongs up your beak for about 1-2 mins and keeps you sneeze and drip free for about 2 hrs.
#4
I see the £19.00 also but if you add it to the basket it changes to £10.00
#5
Showing at £10 for me as well. Saw this being advertised in the paper, so no existing members only or anything like that.

See this picture: http://i46.tinypic.com/16j3bbk.png

EDIT: It's £13.95 including postage, but you can pick them up in-store for £10.
#6
It is a 10£ but to get this price you need to put allergy reliever in search engine on lloyds website and then you will see price 10£, just press buy it and it will add to the basket as a 10£.
Enjoy!
good find!
#7
When you add it to the basket it brings the price down to £10. Good find.

does any one use this, i have chronic sinusitis and wondered if i would help. I had an allergy test done a few wks ago and i didnt react to the pollen however the past few days iv had all the symptons of hayfever, also read bananas can give some allergy reactions that seem hayfever. but hayfever doesnt create an infection which i have.

really, very interesting because my hayfever has got serious after eating a lot of bananas last few days. And it does help a bit but like other methods it not a permanent fix.

I've had the original Medinose version for 4 years, having had chronic hayfever (with asthma in the hayfever season) for over 40 years. On the whole I have been pretty impressed with the results, having tried everything else there is to offer - tablets, injections, homeopathic remedies etc etc.

It seemed to work better the first two years, but that might be just due to the season. It's supposed to be a very bad year this year and it does seem to be the worst year since I started using it. That said, my symptoms are still nowhere near as bad as they used to be. I still get itchy eyes, but the blocked nose isn't as bad and I haven't had the asthma since I started using the Medinose. I still take tablets as well.

It's certainly worth a try at £10 - the Medinose one was over £80 when it came out and that was money well spent so £10 is a no-brainer.

It's not a quick fix though as some posts seem to suggest. You are supposed to use it at least twice a day about a month before the season starts for best results. For fairly low level hay fever you might see results after a few days, but for proper hay fever sufferers it's probably too late in the season to have much effect.

I can definately vouch for these. I have quite bad hayfever and tablets and drops etc just dont cut it anymore, used this last year and it practically went away with no other medication, but on particulary high pollen days I did take one tablet which stopped everything (whereas before it wouldn't).

I also have a friend who has worse hayfever than me and had booked ot have the injections. I insisted that he tried this before he had them (they are quite risky) and he agreed for a tenner. He tried it and needless to say he cancelled the injections, and ended up buying me a few drinks as a thank you.

HIGHLY RECCOMENDED, can't state this enough!!!!! - PS I dont work for lloyds.

Thanks for this! Just ordered one with the free air purifer (code HAYFREE).

Got the hayfever reliever and air purifer, with standard p&p, for £13.95.

That can't be bad. It's for my sister. Let's hope it helps! x

Damn, I just paid £19.99 instore today with the free ioniser.

Does this work? i.e. clinical studies to back it up or is it just placebo? Because if it works it's hot and if it's placebo I can think of cheaper alternatives.
#19
how does it work? suck the snot out of you? :)

The HAYFREE code worked for me.

My son uses this and it really does help. Better than taking lots of pills at GCSE time!
#24

That's what scammers who produce fake medical devices are counting on to make money.
That, the placebo effect, and the human tendency to attribute any natural improvement to whatever treatment the person happens to be receiving at that time.

Links to two research papers which may support this:

http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/apl/cmro/2009/00000025/00000007/art00008

Whether this device delivers the 'right types' of light is another question

Im willing to give it ago. If anything it'll be better than sticking 2 bits of tissue up me nose. I think some sort of nasal filter would be better. Something I can stick up there, still breathe, not look stupid and something safe.
#30
I can't get the HAYFREE code to work! Can anyone help?
#31
And a couple more, am yet to see any papers which say that phototherapy doesn't work.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9109708

http://journals.lww.com/waojournal/Fulltext/2007/11000/Intranasal_phototherapy_is_more_effective_than.238.aspx

I must admit that I have one of these (was bought for me a few years ago) and I've barely used it as I wasn't entirely convinced (and my hayfever is never that bad). I may revisit it now though.

Same here, doesnt' work :(
#34
Thanks m8 great deal.
#35
Well placebo effect is proven to work so what's the problem? lol.

Remember seeing a documentry about extreme alergy sufferers once and they were being subscribed Hook Worm Tablets. !!!!

They basically hook onto you instestines and (i think) feed off your blood supply, Killed extreme allergy symptoms dead - but science doesn't know how??? You just poo them out in a few days and take another hook worm pill....
#36
Has not made any difference to my sons allergy, but may work for others.
#37
Tried the HAYFEVER code and the HAYFREE code and cannot get either to work.
Anyone got any suggestions?

I'm guessing they ran out of stock? Not really sure. Worked instantly for me as soon as I entered it in.

Edit: I've just tried to order again and can confirm that the HAYFREE code has stopped working. Too late, I guess!
#39
I've heard the hookworms work by distracting your immune system, which is causing the hayfever itself as an auto-immune process.

Paid a tenner about 3 years ago, not sure this thing works at all but will try anything sometimes just to get relief from Hayfever.
