My dad came home with a load of different packets of seeds today and they only cost him 25p each.

There are many flower seeds on offer but also loads of vegetable seeds like radishes, carrots, aubergines and courgettes, yellow wax beans, kelvdeon peas etc.

He also picked up some mesembryanthemums, sweet pea and marigold seeds.

So its worth a trip if your after looking to grow your own plants, now is probably the best time to do it given the price and the weather.

Hope someone finds this useful, rep goes to my dad for buying the seeds in the first place :)

Enjoy ;)

Good price. I know a bloke who bought these last year and quite a lot came up, in comparison with other better known brands, which don't.

My local one also had climbing plants for £1.55 ( i think or round abouts) looked green and healthy too.

you have to laugh at these people who go into B&Q or homebase and spent a couple of quid a packet on seeds

I bought a lot of seeds last year and the result was impressive.
They grow fast and last a long time without too much fuss.
I would advice anyone to try the two variety of lawn seeds (normal and shady).
They virtually destroy any weed and the lawn grows very thick and very green.
Shame you have to cut it every week; they should make a self cutting one!

Almost all seeds come from the same sources - be it Lidl or Sutton on the packet.

The Lidl ones are good. The hybrid ones that are 30-odd pence are good too. For basic seeds Netto have a limited selection for 19p a packet. Paid 19p for 20 sweetcorn seeds and every single one germinated within a week.
