I put lots of effort in to add the links for those members who would appreciate it...

Once again, why comment and have a go?
Don't you have anything better to do than have a go at a fellow consumer who thought that this might just help some people?

Because believe it or not this is a forum where everyone is entitled to their opinions. Are you proposing that no-one can ever have an opinion and must always vote everything hot just to keep the posters happy?

You are absolutely right that everyone should have an opinion, however what is your problem with this particular post?
Is it a deal or not? Simple...
Anyone voting this cold, please explain why...
I could understand if the CDs were cheaper elsewhere or if it was some sort of con... but the basics here are simple... The CDs are extremely cheap, from a reputable company and are an option for collectors to complete their collections for very little...
It's a shame there are some nasty people on this forum...
:(

The 'problem' was that this was at least the 3rd consecutive 'deal' for 2nd hand albums, hence the comment about are you just going to post every album reduced on Amazon. Where does this end? Shall I post every 2nd hand book on Amazon? Shall I list every item in my local Oxfam? It was concern for this forum as a whole that you weren't just going to flood the entire front page. Anyway, I'm bored now, you have fun.
I'd love a 'ignore used' filter on this site.
There's *so* many instances of people selling second hand goods on ebay, play and amazon that to post them on this site seems to be rather silly, especially when they don't have a large numbers to sell. Maybe we could have a CBUK site - carboot uk.

I voted cold as a protest vote against all the people who keep posting used goods on this site. Ebay has an email alert to do that for me and no matter how good a deal it's still basically the same as going down the local salvo army shop.
...and I am taking this too seriously?!
Dude, and the others who have a negative opinion of this thread... chill the "f" out, honestly.
I posted a few CDs cheap from Amazon... simple...
Go and spend your hard earned money in a high street store at full price, while others benefit from post like these...
+1
cheers
I am unable to vote.... but if I could I would vote cold too. That was my opinion and I was certainly entitled to it.
I disagree. A deal is a deal is a deal is a deal and anything that is highlighted on here means that I am made aware of it. Rattle & Hum for £1.27 is a corker of a deal and I would not neccesarily have known it was that price at that location without this site. Unless I trawled through ebay and amazon and playtrade and cex and wherever looking at all their wares on a regular basis then I would not know I could get a copy of this for this price.
Agreed there is a limit and this site is not a conduit to post every single 2nd hand item at a good price out there, but even if it was then, imho, this particular post was more relevant to me than endless posts of cheap usb sticks or cheap flights out of Birmingham to anywhere or cut price Dog Food at Pets@Home that already sometimes populate this forum. And what effort is it to just scroll past something that looks as if it is no interest to you anyway...
Besides I dont have a local salvo army shop at my desk here at work.
Either way I reiterate that Rattle & Hum for £1.27 is a corker of a deal. Thanks OP. Heat added.

Your point is duly noted mate.
Everyone is allowed an opinion, however I just don't understand why such negativity surrounding this post.
As for the U2 thing... they are one of the biggest bands in the world, and have been for 30 years or so... hence why being able to obtain their albums for £1.27 a piece is a good deal.
Of course you can shop on ebay or amazon, but I thought that if I put a handful of albums in one place on here, people might appreciate the effort...
That's all...
