Sorry to seem dumb, but does this come with free air time at Currys? thanks :santa:

If you are an NTL account holder then this phone was free when you took a 300 text / 300 voice, pay monthly offer at £10 per month with Virgin (new corporate best buddy with NTL). They have run out of Lobsters! but the offer is now a basic Nokia phone or £30 for a Motorola Pebl.

Just bought it for a Christmas present. Would be nice if it came with the credit but I'd be suprised to be honest.

Got me really excited for a minute - saw this on the RSS feed thinking it was the phone with the digital tv/radio - I was ready to run out of work to Currys too!

But it's not - ho hum...

When you get a free virgin mobile simcard, they come with £5 free credit so there is a possibility that there is a fiver there :-D
#11
I had one of these from the link and the external memory wouldnt work through the mp3 player :-(

Then the charger cable packed up :-(

If anyone else has more luck with getting one of these to work properly let me know as it could be a great little phone for the price

#16

#17

I've bought this as a prezzie and finally got it today after missing the DHL guy by 20 minutes as I had to go out. Then he put the wrong parcel number on the delivery note, so had to rely on the emails for the right number, otherwise I may not have had it. :o

Had a quick play with it and it seems a really good phone, obviously didn't get chance to fully test it, but it's a sturdy little phone with a good camera and there can't be many other phones that also play MP3's and MP4 video for £29.99. I'm pleased with what I've seen so far and I reckon it's quite a good quality phone.

Price has gone up to £39.99 now though.

Thanks for confirmation

Even more of a bargain!

Managed to use a 10% code (forgot which one!) and 3% back from Quidco

Yup, it's the full retail shebang.

All what you get in the box, might need a bigger mini SD card if you're going to be listening to MP3's, taking quite a few pictures and even recording video, but you can get 2GB cards with adapters for around £16.

Had a look at the one I bought for my mum for Christmas, very impressive.

Might get a bigger mini SD card though.

I ordered two of these, both arrived this morning with £5 credit on each SIM card. Unfortunately one of them doesn't work, so someone won't be getting a Christmas present until the new year.

Phoned up Currys after sales service, and after talking to four different people, I got someone to send me some labels that I can use to pass it onto a courier who will send it back to them.

These phones are very nice, I am very impressed with the quality for £30. What a bargain!
