Fly WITH not IN!!!!

Looks like OP is trying to get some cheap heat off of the back of the earlier FLY IN a Spitfire deal.

COLD beyond belief!!!

GET a GRIP.....
Yes, as above I thought at first it was fly "in" but realised it is fly "with" which seems really pricey. I'm sure it is a great experience all the same, but hardly a bargain at £1,249 in my honest opinion.
very cool . my grandfather flew the plane in the photo ! JH-C

From the website, it is just flying in a small passenger plane along side these two WW2 fighters? Not actually as a passenger.
Hence the "fly with a Spitfire and Hurricane." For £1300 notes.
Unless I'm missing something...
Indeed

You will fly in a Piper Chieftain, which is a twin engined executive aircraft – each passenger has their own luxurious leather seat, positioned next to a large panoramic window from which to view the Spitfire in flight(click here to see the panoramic view from inside the Chieftain)

Not much of a voucher is it?! I'll be interested to hear if anyone manages to use this successfully.

It's Magic AM not FM - a local radio station in Sheffield, so on a local level, the voucher does make sense and I can't see why it wouldn't be accepted.

And considering how people go crazy for Orange Wednesdays, 2 for 1 on a day not filled with annoying students/poor folk sounds like a hot deal :)

In what way do you imagine this won't be full of students? We love a deal as much as everyone else, if not more :p

Thanks for posting OP!

Haha true - but at least you can spread out across the week! Plus Magic AM.... nuff said.

Could stay in a Marriot with a gym and pool for 4 nights B&B for only £336!!!!!!!! And thats the standard price! We do it every year in Aberdeen! So cold for me.
September 15th 2013 until 31st March 2014 stay for three nights and receive your third night at half price. Then all subsequent nights have 10% off the room rate up to a maximum of seven nights.

So if you staying for 6 nights, why not book 3 nights then 3 nights. That means for get the 3rd night 50% twice, so its book 5 nights get 1 free, whereas if you you book 6 nights together you get the 6th night for 80% discount... stupid ill thought out offers.

But heat for a good find. :D

Don't understand those saying it's boring, we took our little ones 4 & 2 along, and even though they weren't the age to appreciate everything, they spent several hours playing around. Great day out.

Cause it is boring. Maybe your family are easily amused but I think it is s*ite.

It's not boring if you understand science.

Perhaps that's your problem.

If I say it's boring then it is boring and you are boring as well. Lol

When you print 6x4, you get 4 photos plus their ad, but looking at the 11th post, you could copy and paste the 4 photos over their ad to get 8 - not tried this myself though as 4 was enough for me...
Sorry if im being thick but how do you get over the fact that 8 passport photos on a 6x4 means there is space left over? Surely the photos will be a bit too big for passport regs? Or is the difference so small they don't notice??

Losing £4k a year on a car isn't much
To clear things up, when I said this:

Dunno but Golf GTD's & GTi's are some of the lowest depreciating new cars you can buy.

I was saying they hold the value better than most cars on the market.
jasonh1339
Pindi
Adidas Addict

I think the real question would be would you lose £8000 on this car if you bought it out right. At around £24,000 to buy, I think you'd almost certainly would. Then there's the interest of having to finance the £24,000. So HOT from me to. Cold voters probably don't know the cost of these cars.

Dunno but Golf GTD's & GTi's are some of the lowest depreciating new cars you can buy.
I bought my MK6 GTD for £19,000 last year when it was 2 years old, so factoring in options it only lost about £6k in the first 2 years.

Where did you buy it from? The price you payed is not the price the first owner got for selling the car for no doubt they sold it for considerably less or maybe part exchanged it.
Golf GTDs hold their value better than most cars on the market. Looking around for equivalent spec. GTDs at time, leather, 18s etc were at least £1k more. I can sell mine now for at least £17k.
I bought it from a trade seller who sells his cars from his mansion. :{

£8k for a 2 yr rent? Thats the problem with people today, no sense of value.

Indeed, 4K a year on a car that's not even yours. It's only a golf too!

Edited By: nalag on Apr 09, 2013 23:55
Would you need gap insurance for the lease ? and could you insure through normal insurance company's Like Aviva, direct line etc ? At work they lease the cars and I have heard some horror stories when the come to pick up the cars they do a inspection and any dents scratches damage to alloys are added up and these came to £2000 +. And the car did not look that bad !

My local, but stopped going a while back as I noticed that more often than not, the movie is ruined by inconsiderate movie goers who don't shut up or ruin the atmosphere by other means.

But hopefully things have changed over the last few years.

Good deal. Cheaper and better than Odeon £4.25 Tuesday Deals.

I was going to go to the cinema in London last week for the first time in ages and the price was £12.50 per ticket, so this has to be a good deal

There are some decent offers around in London,
The Notting Hill Coronet has all shows for £3.50 on Tuesdays, includes latest releases. Has been doing this for years.
The Prince Charles Cinema, Leceister Sq, has a membership scheme (£50 for life), has movies for £4 two / three months after their "big release"... Up to two years ago it had £1.50 showings in the afternoon, was a very good deal then.

Maybe...I know this sounds elitist, but I had wished my local multiplex would raise it's prices for some screenings just to keep the scum out. Now before anyone starts, I'm not suggesting that those with less money are scum - but the scum in general (at least in my area) do have less money. The last straw for me was having to watch Avengers with a crying baby in the audience. Having said all of the above, the scumbags would sneak into the screening anyway.
Thanks great deal. I didnt know about whacky wed deal. I just hope i find a good film to watch now ;-)
