Seems like a cracking deal to me and didn't notice that anyone else had posted it.

A definite must for your collection and cant really go wrong at this price.

High-octane fuelled East-End gangster comedy thriller, lock, stock & two smoking barrels is a journey into London's seedy underworld with brilliant street-wise dialogue and razor sharp black comedy.

Not really much else to say really. I think theres a possibility of 4% quidco too.

Enjoy ;)

Please can you state a reason if you decide to vote cold. Thanks.

revolver is a masterpiece.

do you like and understand david lynch films ? as revolver is like a lost highway on acid.

basically, everything u see in the film is all from the mind of the main character, who has gone mad after being locked up

all the main 4 characters in the film, are different personalities inside the head of this main character

basically he is at war with himself, going mad, and breaking free at the end, hence he kills the casino boss, who is his main split personality....

brilliant film, visually stunning, but complex

watch it again now, with the added info, and u will really enjoy it
ps: your avatar is annoying as hell....

Ha ha don't look at it
I love lost highway and mollholland drive and enjoyed revolver especally the animation bits i just didn't get it so liotta was statham and gold ang andre 3000 and the guy out of sopranos and as his ego got bigger his psyche went mad
so who was the main character mr green or liotta?:whistling:
good to hear your into Lynch too....

I had to watch revolver 3 times to work it out, I didnt suspect it was going to like a lynch film, it is heavily based on lost highway but even more stylish....

ok - so we never see the main character, albeit, only for a few seconds, when they show some prisoner in his cell, THAT GUY is the main man, all we see in the film are recollections of events that got him ultimately locked up....

the recollection of events is told by various split personalities in his mind, the loan sharks are both plit personalities, so is casino boss and so is Statham...... but Stathams is based on his real peronalitiy,

in the film, the main character ( who we almost never see ) is refered to as MR GOLD. quote from film " No one sees Mr Gold - yet he sees everyone " .

lots of small clues, but all the answers are in the final scene, where Statham is in the lift. here he speaks to himself, at one point says " how do I know all this ? because I am you and you are me " ( referring to casino boss )

so casino boss represents evil / madness or such like, at end of film casino boss says " fear me - fear me " - but when statham no longer does, he has extinguised his fear from his mind, thus casino boss kills himself ( visual representation of events )

all very interesting i thought ! well worth watching again, more clues in chess scenes too , and especially when statham is talking about this days in prison.
