I've been putting it off saying I can't justify a tenner a pack then say the price and couldn't come up with and excuse this time !

We did our loft with Celotex board. There's a supplier on ebay who does seconds and it's cheaper than these boards per square meter. Excellent insulation too.

celotex is insulation board, these are flooring grade chipboard.

yes cut it to size and slide it in.
the position of nogins may result in you having to lift sections of the floor

10 lots of the deal, so 30 packs

Entirely different thing. These are floor boards, celotex is insulation.

Not at all. If you lay thick enough celotex on top of your joists and place a thin hardboard layer on top it will do an equally decent job.

This is their website. I don't know the name of their ebay account but they usually do cheaper stuff on there.

Wouldn't celotex + hardboard work out quite s but more than these ? Fair enough if you need to insulate anyway i guess. But if not wouldn't you just use these boards.

I have a loft that has a VERY small access.
I cant even get a roll of insulation through the hatch, although I can just about get up there myself
It s a real pain
