I still think this workd out cheaper if you have one of those firms out via your gas or electic supplier they fit it and the goverment pay so much towards it (sorry but cold for me) only paid £160 and someone else put mine in and before you ask no I'm working full time no other discounts.

If you were topping up and got 100mm thickness then it covers 24 sq metres for £17.99 - my house isn't massive and only needed 4 bags for top up - £35.98 against your £150, 2 hours to install, that means I saved £115 - thanks for the cold :x

I have a bungalow and 70 Plus sq metres to cover, to be honest I would rather pay for someone to lay it given the small working area (I have a pitched roof) and the very unplesant skin irritation it can have. I should also mention that the company re lagged all the pipes and hot water tank as part of the job and they charge pro rota so the smaller the cheaper. Sorry you dont agree with the cold rating but I still stand by it :whistling:

I think its best to look at the deal not a situation, i personally do not have 150 to spend at the minute on a company to do work, but i do have £40 to spend, so this deal helped me alot
