Anyone have this? Are they quite sturdy?

Just saw this too for £59.99, not sure which is the better buy though:

I think it's a good deal but I would need to build an attic which would somewhat negate the deal. Heat for the price of the ladder though. oO

I got one last year when the offer was on. Decent enough for our use, I'm 14st and find it fine. They are not the most sturdy or best in the world obviously but for the money they are fine.

are these hard to install?

normally just screw in a couple of screws each side of ladder to joist opening above trap door - job done..just make sure there's adequate headroom above opening for ladder to go up..3section so it should be ok if you've got about 1.3metre height above.

Anyone know if this comes with the bits to convert the loft hatch?

It says it includes all components and instructions for installation so I'd imagine enough for at least a typical install

Does it come with the blonde?

This Wickes one is reduced by 25% to £59.99, wonder of it's worth the extra tenner?

I installed this 2 months back. has been fine. I'm around that weight.
trick is to set it up so ladder is almost vertical rather than angled too much.

1.3m pah mine is 3m floor to ceiling

Nice price, but I am after a full loft hatch kit with ladder, something with the hatch and surround too as my hatch is too small at the moment and I need to enlarge it as well as add the ladder. Something like this would have been ideal I think but no stock anywhere by the look of it: http://www.diy.com/departments/abru-3-section-folding-loft-access-kit-h28m/30365_BQ.prd

1.3m is the height of the ladder when collapsed. It can extend to 3m when pulled down.

Are these oos already?

Got one last time, fine for helping me lug my cannabis plants down from my industrial grow room .8)

Sold out online now but worth trying local stores (may be worth calling them if it's a hike for you). Also spotted the Wickes one on Amazon for £53.76, free delivery:

I think I'm gong to go for the Amazon one as lots of good reviews
