I'm not sure if this is the cheapest around but can't find anywhere that has a charging stand this low. This is great if you don't want to bother with rechargeable batteries as there are two power packs that come with this also.

Review

Will this work if you have the motion plus attached?

I hate having to constantly remove the silicon cover just to change the battery. These don't look like they'll remove that annoyance so in the long term, batteries are better value for money I reckon.

A good deal but just a word of warning. My neighbour recently rang nintendo to complain that her Wii remote was giggered and they asked how she charged her wii remotes and she told them that she had one of these. The lady from Nintendo reckoned that this was why her Wii remote was giggered. Anyone else had this problem? I wanted one myself but am now put off.

£13.99 according to link

What does giggered mean? Is it when your Wii remote smells like ginger? D:

Amazon are plonkers, why do they have to change the price as soon as some people order at once.

Maybe it is an adaptive pricing system that reduces the price until people are interested and then increases until orders drop off. That way they maximise the price a bit like airline and now train pricing.

Better value for money  Why anyone wants to use the silicone covers anyway :?

chargers are the way to go, i charge mine up then unplug the charger from the wii, as i like to run them down then re-charge.

Pen pushers? Silicon covers protect the Wii remote and help grip the thing. Anyway, I used one of these once and the battery pack started to leak chemical liquid so I returned it to Argos.

The inductive chargers are the way to go and I'd probably get one if I could any.
