http://www.pocket-lint.com/review/2882/logic3-jivebox-ipod-speaker-system

The JiveBox has been designed to set the benchmark in ultra compact audio system performance. Whilst turning heads with its stylish design, the JiveBox has been acoustically engineered to deliver an output of 90 Watts RMS previously unheard of in a unit of this size. Patented technologies including a ClassHDTM amplifier and a Hi-X Sub-Woofer have made it possible to achieve its very high acoustic output and deep bass from such a small enclosure. The JiveBox boasts connectivity for all iPod's and other audio devices, DSP Technology, LED Lights and a multi-functional remote control make it the complete sound solution.

If you can get one for that price i highly recommend anyone with an itouch or iphone to get one!! I last year got one for my wife after researching and hunting for weeks as i wanted something of high quality in wattage. Remember that without a good wattage a system with sound absolutely crap once you try to turn it up. You see all these other devices for the iphone and ipods etc yet the wattage is average around 15watts - 40 watts max which for me was rubbish as guaranteed it will sound rubbish once you try to turn it up as it will distort and you run the risk of blowing the speaker. Therefore this device is the only one out in the market with an excellent wattage for the price paid........trust me the sound is truly amazing for this little device and totally outclasses anything else again for the price. I paid the full wack of 109.00 last year but when i received it and gave to my wife she was over the moon with it including myself as i also used it from time to time with my iphone.

I would have bought one there and then but I have just bought the Altec Lansing IMT800 off fleabay so couldn't justify this as well. I was sorely tempted though!
#3
Totally agree with asanchez - bought one of these last year also and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
One point is that I have the new Ipod touch 64gb and although it plays on these speaker it does not charge up so I end up having my old Ipod classic on it instead, shame as it would look so much better with the touch sitting on it!

But other than that one small point it is fantastic and that is a great price

The Altec Lansing IMT800 is more of a sound system which i presume is down to preference yet more expensive and i think 55 watts per channel with a higher price tag to it. As i already have a sound system (separates) with 1K sound wasnt looking for this for the wife as way to big compared to the jivebox's size and RMS output of 90-110 watts, needless to say the price tag. Good find though bretreading and enjoy the Altec as no doubt you will enjoy anyway!!
#5
Yeah I realise the Alec is a different machine and is probably too big for what I need but having read the reviews I couldn't resist it, particularly as I got it for a decent price.

I may still get the Logic3 for the bedroom though....at this price it is hard to resist.

They have four in Reading (two in each branch - one on display and one in a box). I am pretty sure they have them in the large Oxford Street branch in London as well but will check tomorrow when I am at work.

would have been tempted but reviews state its flawed, if your music goes through a quiet spell of 20 seconds it goes into standby mode!
#21
I don't know if i should post this as a seperate deal but they are selling these for the same price £59.99 in Sainsbury's. The have at least three on an end aisle display in the Derby Wyvern store. I'd have bought one if I hadn't just spent a stupid amount on a new pair of glasses this weekend.

I bought one of these full price a year ago, totally amazing! Really worth it getting if you can do so.

To be honest I've read this and can't agree. It does switch its self off when it senses what it thinks is silence, but I've never been listening to a song and have it happen.

I've had mine since september, and my only complaint is that it doesn't quite go quiet enough. I mean for normal listening it's fine, but when it's 2AM and you're in a small room, you want it to go just that little bit quieter. But it's a compromise I'll live with for the price, frankly. It's so good that I'm severely tempted to go snap up another.

And just to confirm, it'll charge iPhone 3G / newest iPod Touch.

I'll vouch for this too. Amazing sound quality in a very neat cube arrangement.

I too bought this for my wife's Christmas back in 2008. I'm sure back then it was reduced to £100 from £150 so at this price is a brilliant bargain.

.......now thinking of getting one for the garage, if I can find one!!!

For the money I think they are excellent. I bought one for the wife Christmas 08 when it was reduced to about £100 and was blown away with the sound quality.

So much so, I bought another one yesterday for my garage. Got it from HMV and it was back down to £59.99:thumbsup:
