I came across this while I was on the look out for the cheap PS3 games that was recently posted.

I realise that this is likely to be one of those hard to find items. I managed to pick up the last one and the display model. They were priced £29.97 so picked one up as an early xmas pressie but it scanned through at £9.97. Asked the chappy if he anymore left but he said the only other one was the display model, so i took that as well. 2 xmas pressies now!!!

P.S This price is for the PINK one only and the store I got them from was in Worcester.

The link goes to the silver one, which is full price, but just for those that want the specs.

Happy Hunting

Have you got a product code?

There is a possibilty about getting the same frame from Currys too (they used to have them there too)

The receipt shows

1 x 0000572553 @ £9.97.

Hope that helps!
On PC World website Clearance Deals page, it advertises digital frames instore from £9.97, so this could be nationwide.

Look here: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/editorial/clearance-deals
where got? no such things.... at least i couldn't see it at the moment!
Wow - didn't take someone long before they expired this.

THIS DEAL IS IN-STORE ONLY as mentioned in the original post and by renard (thanks for link as I didn't see that page). It was only linked to the silver one so people could have a look at it & read the specs.

I believe that It is also nationwide, as with many of the PC World clearance stuff. Unfortunately, it is very hit & miss as to whether you will find any or not. Again like many of the PC World clearance stuff!

Anybody know how to unexpire?. Cheers
Report your post mentioning you want it un-expired, there is also the contact us link at the foot of the page :)

I purchased the black version of this (PF-A700B) from PC World.

It was intended for my elderly mother-in-law. We wanted ease of use - so she could switch it on and get into slideshow without navigating any menus. Unfortunately, this is not possible - whenever you switch on or insert a memory device, you have to choose whether to view a slideshow or go into the setup menu and I can't see any way to change this.

The aspect ratio is 16:9 which is wider than most photos, so you end up with the top & bottom being cropped. This seems to be the same with most 7" frames though.

If the files are large, it takes about 3 seconds to load each picture, so skipping back and forward is a problem. The solution is to reduce the picture resolution to create JPEG files as small as possible.

The biggest problem of all was that it would only read about half my JPG files. The instructions says 'will not read all JPG files - if you have a problem edit on a PC as re-save'. This did not work for me and for this reason, I decided it was useless and returned it.

The 7" Matsui PF-A701W (Currys/PCWorld/Dixons own make) looks like it was made by the same people as this (similar case, menu system & model number) so I would try those models in the shop before buying too.
dont no why people post deals with a 7 at the end of the deal cos never ever seen one yet in stock
actually got one last night for my sis l..they've also got Mini Digital Photo Display Keyrings for 97p!!
