Connecting 4 HDMI sources to just 1 HDMI socket, the Logik HDMI Switch Box helps to solve the problem of multiple HDMI connections.

The Logik HDMI Switch Box is ideal for high definition TVs allowing you to connect your HD DVD player, games console, HD satellite, and home cinema system all into one socket on your TV. All you have to do is switch between the appliances you want to use.

Have been looking for a splitter for a while and stumbled across this yesterday.

I know its a .X7 item but there does seem to be reasonable stock in the areas that I looked at. Yesterday evening there was stock at all the Southampton stores, Bournemouth & Watford.

I have a reservation number that's valid for today for Southampton Hedge End & another for Watford if anyone wants it. No stock in Salisbury or Andover stores.

Bought this about a year ago for the same price. Nice bit of kit and works a treat - the only downside is the LED's on the front are far too bright.
Worth noting that it works both ways - ie 4 into 1 or 1 into 4 (I use it to split my HDMI signal from my amp to either the TV or Projector.

Thanks

The light really is bright and if you have it looking at you, which you almost certainly will as you need to manually press the buttons on the front to change, then you will find it distracting.
I bought this several months back and simply took the cover off and snipped out the led's.You don't need a light as the one in use is pressed in.

There has been reported 1080p problems on AVForums? Anyone had any problems?
#12

also have his no problems but LED's are a pain but easy fix :)

Can anyone tell me how big it is roughly? It's hard to tell from the image, and I'd want to mount this between the TV and the wall, so I guess I'm most interested in the thickness. Cheers!

I've not had any 1080p problems (as my TV doesn't support it) but I have had trouble with the HDMI because of the HDCP "handshake" issue. It fixes itself if you turn the power completely on and off but I'm not sure if the issue is to do with the box or the TV (it's a Samsung and there have been reports that it could be the TV). So, if you own a Samsung and are looking to buy this then there could be a potential issue.

cool, reserved, thanks.

Hot from me! I bought one a few months ago at about £5 from currys. I only have an 1080i tv so I am not sure about 1080p signal problems.
The light is really annoying, but mine sits in the cabinet behind a frosted glass, so it's only an issue when I press the button.

I bought this last time it was on, and I could never getter a good picture with it. I got lines all over the screen the quality was just poor. In the end I purchased a different one from Argos, which I haven't had any problems with.

That sounds a bit drastic. Just cover up the LEDs with a semi-opaque tape!

does this have external power?

No
#30
just bought one, cant complain for 4 quid, buttons are stiff to press in and that will mean moving the box around alot when changing, 2 handed job dammit
#31
.
I can't even find it on their site to reserve.
#32
me either.. has someone got a direct link to this? or a product id to search or something?
#33
Works well, but I agree that the lights are way too bright. I have to put something in front of it to hide them.
#34
Picked one up today, so thanks OP
#35
I picked one of these up today in PCworld (Currys had em on sale for £15) in Telford, so they are still around in some stores it seems (although I got the last one in PC World Telford!)

Cheers
