I've been eyeing these bad boys since before black friday and they have been unrelenting in coming down in price, that is... until today.

I decided to upgrade to these from my previous Z323 (which are great speakers), but the 623s give you just so much more. The bass response, jesus.

If you're more of a snobby audiophile you might be better off with the Klipsch Promedia 2.1s (supposedly they're the better version of these, with a less powerful bass response, from what I've read.) but my main use is watching movies and I listen to all sorts, from hip hop to film scores and to me they sound great. I rarely turn them over halfway as to not upset the neighbours, but that's usually more than enough.

I wouldn't call £120 a steal for these, but you'd be getting them for 20 quid cheaper than I did and I do not regret it at all.

Logitech are superb for the price, Bose beaters in fact - great from films to progressive house and equally at home with opera.

We still use Logitech Z5500 5.1 surround system, heat from me!

Hmm depends what you mean by Bose beaters? Bose have more detail throughout the audio range and are a truer sound IMO but these are under 1/2 the price for what is still a good setup. These might be considered better value for money but high quality audio costs go up with diminishing returns

That picture is so cringe. I can just imagine the poor guy when the photo was being shot. "What... so just state at the TV, smiling inanely whilst playing drums on my legs?"

I've been waiting for a deal on these speakers and this is not it. You can see from camelcamelcamel that this is a pretty average price over the past year.

Bose beaters?

yes compared to the companion 3's......well under half price and tried both side by side and the logictec sounded just as good IMO.

Bose beaters?

I've got one of them old Bush Transistor Radios with the big tuning dial that I would consider a Bose Beater.
