wonder if it works with the new nano.

Great sound.

Hi everyone.

I already have the Logitech MM50 speakers. Anyone know if these are any better? My MM50 ones are getting slightly tired.

Also, do these come with the case in the picture? Can't see that picture on amazon!

Thanks!

i need one for an iphone 2g, if there is a 3.5 Jack on it, u can normally cut away the rubber and it will fit the iphone, or get an adapter from ebay for like £3 , will it charge it also ? cuz on other docking systems it turns the iphone on to Air plane mode, and u loose reception
#7
I think it will turn it to Airplane Mode. Not totally sure though.
#8
Thanks Edi - nice find!

hmmmmm...... not tooo sure if i should buy these..... or wait for a better offer, purely for the fact

***** whoops*****
purely for the fact the new ipods are due soon..... so im just holding tight....

Works with the iPhone, turn into airplane mode to avoid the annoying interference. The sound quality is good, although not as good as Creative T20 speakers which cost a compariable amount. Battery life is poor even with 2500mAh rechargables, it seems to sap power even when it's turned off, AND it takes 6 AAs which makes recharging annoying.

good price, hot from me

Good piece of kit, bought it a couple of months ago when it came down to £35. Definitely works with the current Nano 3g, though it only has the older docking adapters in the box so I had to use the one which came with the nano. Quite impressed with the bass for such a little unit.

I bought these a few months ago when on offer at about £35 and am very disappointed. It got great reviews on this site and the Amazon site.
Once you turn up the volume to a decent level the speakers begin to rattle, I am really not impressed and wish now I had tried to return them when I had bought them.
This is my opinion anyway, perhaps there is something wrong with mine because the reviews were very good.

be careful - whilst these will probably work fine with 2G iphone (albeit in airplane mode), they almost certainly wont work with 3G iphone. At best, if they work at all, they wont charge the iphone due to the differening voltages required by the battery in the 3G iphone. Most likely I would say it will come up with the yellow triangle saying 'incompatible'. I have only found two that work properly with 3G iphone - the Altec Lansing iphone speakers, and the Bose Portables (at £299!).

Can confirm it works fine with both 2G and 3G iphone, it's the only dock in my house that will charge my 3G iphone...

There's a bit more bass than on the MM50, also mine did come with the case pictured though i got mine from Tesco...

I'm more tempted by the Tannoy i30 deal at Warehouse365 that was posted (and removed) last night. Is that particular retailer blackmarked? I agree the price is 'almost' too good to be true.

I managed to get a set of these at sainsburys for £19.99. I think it's much better than the gear4 speakers i had. Bought one for my sister from amazon too. I think it works with the itouch if anyone is wondering =p i'm using my 1st generation nano with it.
#20
Whats better? These speakers? or the ivoice ones posted before?

i use my iphone with mine. never put it in airplane mode tho. only get intrferance when some1 rings/text.

I got this for £19.99 from tesco instore last christmas! Good product nevertheless. At low volume, the sound is distorted (the little bass that it has overpowers the music), but it is great otherwise. It looks great too and is great for use with my computer (using the 3.5mm input).

I agree I've had both, I replaced Audiostation with MM50, it sounds far better and dosn't need all those huge batteries
#25
Ordered one as did a friend in the office. Cracking deal.

I got the Logitech Pure-fi ipod dock from ebay for £45 deilered. They are graded but are like new and in perfect working order. Sound are superb and comes with built in rechargable batteries that last for hours of play.

How do these work with the 6g ipods?
