Whats the range of the keyboard and mouse? 1.5m?

Hmm the keyboard is nice, I'm typing on it now but my mouse didn't even last 6 months. Very plasticy and I hated the batteries being on top and not bottom, damn case kept sliding off! For £15 not a bad deal but probably worth investing in a better bit of kit :)

I bought this combination from Tescos a couple of months ago for that price (or it may have been less than that......so it seems to crop up from time to time at that price....so IMHO it isn't much of a bargain)
I agree with Random_ginger comments about the mouse, I don't like the batteries in at the top of the mouse and also the batteries don't seem to last long. I use Duracell and they last about a month but maybe mine is faulty. I notice my mouses red light beam is on all the time..you would think that it should go into rest mode but it doesn't.
Personally I wouldn't recommend it. It is cheap and plastic looking....there are much better keyboards and mice out there.....but maybe not as cheap.
I'm thinking of the addage 'You pay for what you get'..........I'll be looking for a better one

I want just a decent cheap wireless keyboard anyone got any ideas?

Brilliant Keyboard and Mouse.
Love the "Play/Stop" Buttons for your Music.
Works from a distance away.
The only problem is the batteries quickly run out.
Could be just me:oops:

The mouse is rubbish.

Lol, I'm using this now as we speak! Excellent keyboard, only grip is the range, if only it was about 2 metres!
#15
I am using it at the moment and I agree that the mouse is rubbish and the batteries don't last but then how could they if the light/beam is on all the time (it never goes into rest mode) If you want cheap and nasty then buy this, otherwise avoid like the plague..........there must be better than this

good price for a replacement
ordered thanks op

on new batteries my mouse goes about 4 meters, but can use from about 2 with no problem most of the time. yeh the mouse case on mine does come off a bit but i blamew myself cause i used to play with it all the time. ive matured since then, lol :p

keyboards also splash proof which is awesome ive split water, coke and hot chocolate on it and its still going strong, but the sound keys are a bit stiff cause i couldnt get in to clean the buttons properly from the hot chocolate.

I agree with all of this. I got this combo included in a Dell deal advertised on here a few months back & have since had it replaced by Dell as the mouse kept tracking to the left randomly. New one wasn't much better & only works with clear line of sight to sensor so I've now upgraded to a pricier wireless combo that works

I have one of these sets which came with a Dell a few months back; in my humble opinion, the keyboard looks cheap (the letters appear to be poorly sprayed on and aren't centred on the keys, for example) and the mouse went through 3 batteries in about a week (although the latest battery has lasted a lot longer).
Just my 2 euros worth

Chuckles1066, I forgot about the letters being sprayed on. Mine is the same they aren't centred on the keys........now how cheap looking is that? I just can't understand the positive comments about this keyboard and mouse.....believe me it is cheap and nasty and if you want to waste £15 (and more with all the batteries you will go through) on this.........then go ahead..........and waste your money. For a few pounds more, you could get much better than this.
