#3
Been using one for 4 months now, still on original batteries. Nice compact keyboard.
#4

Not trying to be awkward but really is like "how long is a bit of string"

If you use it once a month or everyday etc

No issues with mine used daily, can last a couple of months sometimes alot less sometimes more
#6
the only issue i have with the logitech ex100 sometimes the keyboard loses connection to the wireless reciever
#7
I have an EX100 also and after using for 18 months it's never lost connection and is very reliable.

Used daily and keyboard batteries are original-i use rechargeables in the mouse and they last around 2-3 months.

I use a G15 gaming keyboard with Mx518 mouse for gaming and 7 years later they are both still trouble free.

I'd recommend Logitech from personal experience.

Looks ok to me and you'd be hard pushed to get better for 20 nicker!

you place the supplied dongle to a USB port
then the keyboard connects wirelessly to that

Great deal but I am still unsure which mouse and keyboard option to go for. I have always been against wireless, two reasons, batteries running out and fear of a problematic connection. I am not into games but the gaming keyboards by Logitech do look nice and Razer do more than a few nice looking mouse options.

I have to ask myself do I need wireless, does the cable get in the way that much?? Mmmm Still voted HOT.

This is a good product for a wireless device but if you don't really need it - don't buy it - I find corded better and you never have to worry about the batteries running out, connection out of sync, etc...

I'm pro wirless, this is a good deal (mentioning it to a few of my friends)

The battery life on these things are really long nowadays, like 6 months for keyboard and 2-3 months for mouse on average.
#15
It lacks Multimedia keys judging by the photo which is a deal breaker for me.
#16
Not sure about the "Was £49.99" bit as the RRP on Logitech's site is only £39.99.
#17
looks ugly.
#18
ordered, thankx
#19
Correct me if I'm wrong, but does t say non returnable? Doesn't fill me with confidence I'm sorry to say. Even after a good skinful!
#20
does the mouse have 5 buttons? i.e. the 'back' and 'forward' buttons? plus is it laser wireless connection?
#21
Hmmm.. paid £40 for this a few weeks ago.. D'oh

What? You can have mine for £20!
Anyway, the keyboard is decent and the mouse is too. But the mouse has the hard click on the scroll wheel button, which ain't too good if like me you are always opening new tabs in firefox/opera/chrome. Other than that can't fault it at £20.

It does have Multimedia Keys, they are at the base of the keyboard not the top.

My housemates ordered one of these, i missed out when it was last on offer at £19.99.
Really good to type on and looks quite nice.

Ive ordered one now its back at this price! Well worth it :)

I can get to 2 meters away before it starts failing. But this is not a problem for me as the mouse/keyboard are never more than a couple of feet away from the receiver.

Hi again,

This is such a tasty buy. However an article in the Sunday broadsheet has really put me off. Looks like the manufacturer is only encrypting the data transmitted from the keyboard using a simple XOR algorithm. I dont want the youngsters next door or some nosey parker sat outside in his Ford Mondeo intercepting my typing whilst I'm writing the Teddy memoirs or searching for the latest news on the Lib Dems.

This buy is now a no no for me.

Didn't someone say the range was 2 metres??
#28
Is the 2 metre range something which has been stated by Logitech?? Also semi detached house have someone elses house with in a 2 metre range to one side of it. Well they do in Rhosllannerchrugog anyway.
#29
My point is that they don't travel very far and they don't travel through things. The signal won't make it out to the road or through thick walls between houses IMO. I may be wrong though!!!
