Got one in Currys for about £13 which is probably a fair price as the keyboard is cheap but the mouse is better.

for the ife of me i don't understand why they don't design usb charged wireless keyboards. How hard can it be, charge dying, plug it in and use wired. CHarged full, use it wireless. Not using it, leave in charging dock.

Its so natural, you can do it with phones, mp3 players, why not a simple keyboard and mouse.

You can get charging docks for mice but it's rather a non issue for keyboards as the batteries last for 6 months or longer.

still having to fork out buying batteries, is a pain, and when the signal starts dyings its a pain you have to wait until the battery is replaced, or charged etc.

its like having to fork out to buy a vhs tape to use a dvd player, aa and aaa batteries are a dead thing, old technology, sooner its buried the better the tech world will be.

That’s why I keep a set of Hybrio AA and AAA for my mouse and keyboard as they hold their charge for ages so as soon as my regular batteries fade I swap them out and charge at my leisure. :)

It would be nice if everything had a built in battery and USB charger but it would add to the cost of products and also the size and weight so I guess it’s a trade off.
