Logitech Driving Force GT - £79.99 - Amazon

The official wheel of Gran Turismo, the Logitech Driving Force GT is designed from the ground up to provide an exceptionally realistic Playstation3 racing experience. Its advanced forcefeedback technology recreates bumps, crashes and traction loss with jaw-dropping realism, while the 900- degree wheel rotation accurately replicates the steering dynamics of many real cars. A comfortable 33 cm (11 inch) rubber-overmould rim provides a slip-free grip;the 24-position real-time adjustment dial (a first on a force-feedback racing wheel) lets you fine-tune brake bias, traction control and other settings on the fly for unprecedented control over your car's performance characteristics;and the fullsize accelerator and brake pedals deliver instant response.

If you are looking for a wheel for GT5, this is the official wheel and the cheapest I could find. A good, cheaper alternative to the G25 and G27.

I wish the price would drop more on this, would love to get it with GT5. Also hasn't been at this price for a while?

I was just looking around online for a wheel to use with GT5. Found this wheel and it seemed to be a good price so thought i'd post. I read somewhere that last year the G25s were selling for about this price! Wish I had caught that

Thanks for posting, I was looking for this wheel today but no luck. I'll just wait a while longer, but this would be awesome with GT5.

I admit to have not used this model but I would be surprised if its particularly good for that sort of money. Probably ok for the kids or occasional use but check out a fanatec if your after something for more serious gaming.

By all accounts this is a fantastic wheel BUT if your willing to track something down second had or have £200 or so lying about the G25\27 and Fanatec stuff is better.

Argos deal is better - Same price but £5 voucher when you spend £50 or add £21 to your order and get £10 voucher.

I have this wheel as an upgrade from an old school one with no feedback. My opinion: this is awesome! I've used it with f1 2010 and achieved lap times impossible with the six-axis.

I use this wheel with iRacing and rfactor, without any problems, the main downside with it, is the pedals, which I don't use, as I have a set of BRD Speed7's.

I have just paired this up with a wheel stand (www.wheelstandpro.com) and it is great fun with GT5 and other racing games

I have heard nothing but good things about this wheel, especially for the price. If I had the spare cash I would definitely go for a G25/G27, the clutch would be a big plus, but for the money I think this is about the best you can get.

Outrunner, from your post, do I get the impression that you are able to change the pedals for an alternative set? If I could use this wheel but also have a set of pedals with a clutch that would be great.

Umm.. standard price isnt it? Thats how much my friend bought this for in GAME last year, then it dropped to £50 soon after.. I laughed.. :D

Then I laughed even more when a few days later I bought G25 for £100 from play :D (Thanks HUKD ;) )

You don't have to use the supplied pedals if using it on a PC (i don't know about a console), as long as the pedals use USB then in game they should be seen as another device. There are several companies that sell pedal sets, but they can be very expensive
