Hot from me, got one from argos for nout a week ago at the old price (paid with some vouchers I'd won). If you own a PS3 and any racing games for it GT5, grid etc it gives the game a whole new level, only shame is that it doesnt work on my xbox so guess I'm never going to experience Forza with it.

literally just got beat to the last one in solihull :(

Good deal if you can find it.

Also these work well with a PC for PC gamers out there.. though I believe "some" of the buttons may not work straight out of the box..

All the same, a nice find OP.

There's a little laptop table called a 'Dave' in Ikea which is perfect to hold a steering wheel. It is cheap (£15) and of course it's also excellent for using a laptop while on the sofa!

If you want a stand for the wheel but don't have any extra cash, just use your ironing board.

voted hot, I just bought one on on Gumtree for £60 second hand, so if you don't like it your losses will be minimised.

Stop resisting, the wheel was made for this game. I can't imagine playing it without it. So much better with it. ;)

I kinda reserved one earlier lol, my weekend plans have fallen through as well so the funds reserved for that seem to be headed towards Argos's pocket tomorrow!!

Nothing inside of 36 miles from London.... :(

Why does the wheel spin around by itself when I turn the PS3 on and then it does it again when I put a game on like Race Driver GRID?

Why does the wheel spin around by itself when I turn the PS3 on and then it does it again when I put a game on like Race Driver GRID?

It spins around to calibrate the wheel for the central position and that everything is ok if you dont want it to do it so much just keep the power cable out till your ready to play and it will do it just once but you can still use the controls on the device. I'm pretty sure it explains the same in the manual.
#23
thanks for that. the PS button the steering wheel doesn't work either. i press it and it doesn't come up with the shutdown screen. do you think its faulty?
#24
My PS button doesnt work when tapped like the controller does but pressing and holding it in it comes up with the usual controller 1-8 options quit game etc menu.
#25
One thing I have found on GT5 - in the wheel setup - change it to Pro settings - much more responsive and realistic - doesnt try and pull you out of whipping the rear end out etc then and you can drive properly... Loving it though, cracking piece of kit!!
