Good price for a great wheel that brings GT5 to life.

Logitech wheels are good nice price

Sometimes there are deals on Logitech wheels.

I got my G27 for £180 from Logitech direct (Some Quidco and a voucher a few months ago).

At the time, GT5 came out and I sold my G25 for £250 on eBay. So basically ended up with a newer wheel and £70 in my hand.

Why the comparison with Amazon? To make it seem a better deal than it is?

Sure I got mine for about £50 a couple of years back. Exactly the same wheel as this. I guess market value has shot up since GT5 actually got released so it's still a hot deal in comparison to other merchants. Just still more than I'd expect to pay. I'd highly recommend this by the way - makes GT5 (and a lot of other racing games) a hell of a lot better. I would never want to play a racing game without a wheel now.

Very good wheel but the pedals will leave you a bit floppy, can be made to feel a bit more realistic with some strategically placed bungee cord, playing in socks or thin footwear helps too.

been looking at these on ebay since they were last on here at game at argos, keep nearly buying one but trying to wait till after my exams

but apparently £50 cheaper than anywhere else for it is not a hot deal!!

this deal has been posted several times before, last I looked the closest argos with stock was 30+ miles away.

I was tempted to get the g25 when it waslike £100 or so a few years back but stopped myself, regret it now.

Plenty of stock available around the manchester area unlike the last time, i resorted to buying 2hand but it was mint and cost me £50. Having played driving games for the pc and console with a joypad i was not expecting an improvement on lap times tbh, how wrong was i! After the initial i cant do this it is totally different it just gels and you are better than before.

I use mine on the PC the drivers are available from logitech site and with the addition of realfeel plugin and leo plugin which give extra feel back properties within rfactor it just blows anything else away as far as simulation goes.Rfactor + mods is where its at, PS3 driving games are pale in comparison.

They usually sell for £60-£70 on the bay

Anyone know how this compares with the Driving Force Wireless? I have one of those I picked up from a deal on here but I'm looking for something equivalent or better with pedals as opposed to paddles on the back of the wheel - considering the name, will this be very similar to what I already have? If so, perfect!

I use it on PC by the way

Works with a PC too!.. (though not ALL the buttons work but most do)

Was looking for one of these before christmas. Ended up with a thrustmaster 360 as these were out of stock everywhere. An excellent wheel, and an excellent price.

Got this and its made my times the worst ever. I'm so much faster with a normal gamepad controller.

where would you place the bungee cord in detail if you don't mind?

I picked one up in Wolves :) seems pretty good compared to my driving force wireless which I thought was amazing itself

Reality check, eh, austinc?
