How do you accelerate with this? Do you have to stretch your thumb to the 'X' button? If not, is the button you use force sensitive?

You use the 2 paddles behind the steering wheel for accelerate and brake. The paddles are analog.

i got it for F12010 a few weeks ago. takes quite a while to get used to the paddles. i think it is really good especially for the price. If you dont have the room for a full wheel set or the money this is for you

How do you stop it moving around? Does it clip to a desk?
#11
save your money and buy a logitech g25 or 27

You'll be saving for a while as there's a huge difference between a £25 wheel and a £200 wheel

The G27 is a great piece of kit (especially when coupled with a racing seat) but you can't compare it to a £25 wheel

it sits on your lap (and does move around) - loads of youtube clips showing reviews etc :)

Yup, only 10 times the price, and 1 of them is pretty much impossible to buy new nowadays *thumbs-up*

I suspect that anyone looking to buy a G25/G27 isn't even going to blink at this.

Good price for a decent wheel from a good manufacturer, though the hardware is pretty out of date.

I have this and it works on PC (mine is windows 7 64bit), also if you down load logitech gaming software :)

Yep just had a look, cheers. Looks fine for the lounge/passing around a group but less useful for serious session. Think the kids would love it.

It's an okay wheel for the price but just bought GT Driving Force and much, much better. Argos have it for £79.99 with £5 voucher for spending over £50 at the moment. This one is good for the lounge though, as has been said.

gran turismo 5 is already out, got it earlier and don't bother gettin the g25 or g27, even tho they r the best, not all functions are supoerted by gt5. i got the g27 steering wheel and its great, but u can customize any of the buttons on the steering wheel so the hand brake is a button by the gear stick

Please note the following :

Steering Wheel Support
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit officially supports the following steering wheels:
PS3
Generally all steering wheels based on the PS3 controller will function in NFS Hot Pursuit with the exception of Logitech and Logitech-compatible steering wheels.
* Please note that due to popular demand from the NFS Community, Criterion is working to add Logitech steering wheel support to NFS Hot Pursuit. However, at this point there is no ETA of when the support will be added to the game.

Hmmm, that's interesting. I was looking to buy the new NFS once the price comes down but I'm left wandering if it will work with my Fanatec Turbo S :(
#23
I prefer a fanatec wheel over anything else, may not be so well known as the g25/27 but superior in my opinion if a bit pricey. Can't really comment on this one as not used it but it is cheap so don't really matter if it turns out to be poo.
#24
NFS: Hot Pursuit is awful with the wheel (played using Driving Force GT / PC).
Even if they add official support the driving mechanics simply don't suit it.
#25
I'd agree with that. Hot Pursuit is an all or nothing arcade type game that suits a controller. Forza 3 with a wheel and pedals takes on a new dimension in the way I would assume GT5 would.
#26
I've got one of these and they're pretty tasty!

Ordered this a couple of days ago.

Does the force feedback bit work on PC too? I really fancy a FF wheel but don't want to a) spend loads of cash or b) find that it doesnt work on Win7x64 like a lot of wheels.

Thanks

UPDATE - It works fine on PC with force feedback via the logitech gaming software (detect & download from the website). Tested with GRID2.
