Was just looking around Alienware fantasising about my perfect computer when I noticed these were in the clearance section.

It is still a lot of money for a gaming accessory so one would be perfectly justified in voting cold, and don't feel you have to refrain from doing that just because this is my first deal. But at the same time, it has to be a good price for an awesome bit of kit.

PS I've never actually ordered from Alienware but I assume they're reliable?

was £100 or so somewhere else not long ago

Play were doing them for £99.99 a little while ago but that offer has since expired.

Alienware are part of Dell these days so you can trust them. Play were indeed doing this for £99 a while ago and its due to be replaced in the coming months by the new model so I expect prices will drop sub £100 again shortly.

usually around 125, so hot I suppose :)

Great wheel, got mine in dabs the first time they did it for £99. Great for LFS and hopefully my sim when I get the bleedin' thing finished ;)

Blimey, I mis-read this and thought it was £17.40! :D

Was at play for £99.99 like another said. Very worthwhile if you like racing games and have enough time/money to build/buy yourself a half decent set-up to play it on. imo It WOULD NOT be worth it without good seating position. So consider some space for the unit, I've made mine from a work-bench lol :D good enough to play on and easy to store..!

Pretty much finished GT5prologue with it on professional setting, real simulation setting, TC off (Hardest settings you can have). Now playing GRID, tho annoyed how AI on later stages are so poo, catch up on, bashing into you etc... and no clutch..
Just to put it in prespective, I've already completed GT5 and GRID 2-3times with the controller and its a whole new game to me again with the wheel! :) Also have pariadise, juice 2, NFS: Undercover (tho poo) to get thro. Also ferrari challenge in the post atm. lol. then Dirt, Dirt 2, F1 2008/2009, GT5 (full game), then move onto pc games, toca 2,3 etc..! So if you think of it this way, £120 is for you to replay all ur ps3/pc racing games arcade style..! totally worth it imo.

Finally..! For the sportsman out there, it works on ur arms and forearms muscles a bit too! A perfect excerise machine.

Edit: Final note, i may be geekish and not drive a 350z (yet) but if you search online there are ppl who play with cars (track days etc) yet still have this to have a bit of fun on. defo not just a totally unrealistic gimmick gadget.

Also, yes i suppose the newer version will be coming out but atm by rumours, http://www.gtplanet.net/logitech-g27-confirmed-by-developer-first-look/

I've got the wheel with the Wheel Stand Pro, definately worth buying...

It will seem expensive when paying for it, but once you have it, its a whole new thing, you wont regret it...

Currently playing the Volvo game free from HUKD!!

Can you tell me where you purchased your wheel stand pro from? ive been after one for a while now but cant seem to find stock available for it.

but my cursor keys are free!

Also, in the future you'll drive cars with cursor keys, so its technologically super advanced to play driving games that way, ahem.

Seriously, ok deal I guess but they really need to get the costs down on making quality wheels. The market just not big enough to support that I wonder.

Ive not moved onto pc games yet as my budget gaming pc is about 5yrs old and needs upgrading, ps3 keeps me entertained long enough lol. If u have some time, hav a search on the forums and see how ppl have built themselves a rig to play on. Much more satisfying to play then..! Did i mention cheaper?
