Amazing deal. About £25 cheaper than it has ever been. This is the best mass-production racing wheel ever made. Been using mine for a year or two and never had any problems with it. STINKING HOT!

As an aside, was this wheel really ever £199 at Play? Most places were selling it from £150+ but Inever saw it for anything like £199.

Won't accept the voucher here...
#4
Not working for me either
#5

Ordered one, I posted a deal the other Day for this wheel glad I didn't have the cash at the time as I would have flushed £30 down the drain.

Heat added

PS3 and work great! Doesn't work with XBOX360 at all... I thought it would so I set it all up, but the XBOX had no response to me turning the wheel pressing buttons or anything, on PS3 everything works, you can even use it as a controller.
#25
Brought one, thanks a bunch OP
#26
Cracking deal, thanks OP
#27
Wish i had ps3 instead of xbox...

Compatible Game Consoles: Sony PlayStation 2, PC, Sony PlayStation 3

No eggbox I'm afraid.

I would be tempted by this, but am put off by 'Connectivity Technology': Wired

£100 for a wired controller seems excessive (I sit a few metres from the TV when playing, so don't want to have to sit in the middle of the room, just to use this) + the number of compatible games is fairly low for a high cost item.

Shame they haven't made a blue-tooth version given that's what most other PS3 accessories use... :?

I think that's because it was primarily designed for the PC. But don't let that put you off, juts buy a long usb extension cable! :)

Glad to see that has picked up some decent heat now.

this is brill... now i can finally play live for speed, gtr2, and gran turismo the way they should be played.
#33
thanks op - ordered mine

i have a ps3 what are the best driving games to get to use with this wheel

out of interest, just how do people use this in a lounge / hdtv / ps3 setup? Do you have to buy some special chair and table cos coffee table height just wont cut it.

Ironing board is the low budget method of choice...

...or pop for a play seat if you're feeling flush:

lol - thanks.

Think I'll stick with the ironing board one (now, let me think; do I even have one as never used it ;-))

To cheap to resist, will have to sell my Momo racing now...
#38
Whilst we are on the subject of mounts i find this a very good cheap alternative, with height on tilt adjustment.

http://www.argos.co.uk/wcsstore/argos/images/341-8650500A71UC532310M.jpg

... £34.99 at Argos (865/0500)

Anyone managed to use multiple vouchers or is it just GRID25 and Quidco for the biggest savings?
#40
Great price if i only had the space i would snap this up.

Hot :)
