Everyone knows about this wheel. For some reason some stores are desperate to clear the space. Managed to pick this up at £99.97 from PC World in Southgate, Bath.

Someone has got a workaround for getting Logitech wheels working on PS4
So Logitech g27 is a wheel that is perfectly compatible with the PS3. Sony releases a new console that is incompatible with hardware that worked with the PS3 but according to you the company that is to blame is Logitech.
Are you sure you got that the right way round? Why did Sony break compatibility in the first place?
these in all effect have been discontinued from logitech for about 5 years, as they refuse to add it to thier gaming software. But a great wheel, and even better for £99 there is no way anybody should buy the updated/sidedated G29 Old (very old) technology compared to competition. But the G27 is a great wheel still

The G27 is defo worth this price, brake mods are so cheap to do.
However I would spend the extra and get the Thrustmaster instead as it does feel that much better.
Driveclub for the PC?
I bought my G25 about 5 years ago for £99 on offer, after 5 years of use if I stick it on ebay today I'm still going to get at least £80 for it.
They aren't the absolute best devices but they nicely fit in that category above being a cheap toy but still affordable for someone who takes playing racing games a bit more seriously. So they are always in demand second hand and thanks to the lack of progress on them really even the old ones like the G25 and G27 are still desirable today because the more up to date models don't really offer anything new.
So again, you see one at this price just buy it. If you don't have the room for it, or the misses isn't happy about a £100 vibrating toy she can't use you'll happily recoup your money on ebay.
It's sonys fault not logitech. they put some usb encryption crap in the ps4 so only certified accessories can be used.. you want logitech to come round to your house and solder a chip into your steering wheel? address your complaints to sony for blocking it.
Old thrustmaster wheels released long before the ps4 are working on the ps4
Some of them do work, not completely, but they work. Most others won't work at all without the chip or sony to release a FW update that allows them.

If you read the comment that i replied to initially before you jumped in, and by the way jump in all you want its fine with me, but if you read what he said you'll see he said it needs a chip and "do we expect logitech to come round to our house and solder a chip into our g27". Well it doesnt need a chip does it? Thats the point i was making, but I didnt want to get into an argument about it though
... if you can find one.

Superb piece of kit.
i'm sure she just checked the website *puts face into palms*
anybody who finds one is going to buy it. only way your going to find out, is going to the shop and asking yourself
Old thrustmaster wheels are working on the PS4 and nobody soldered new chips into them
The G27 was released long before I the PS4, in which case it must be a Sony issue.
By your logic dinosaurs went extinct because man discovered fire.
Im right then
