Heat because this is a good spot and a low price for this mouse. Brought it myself, I've been unlucky and ended up with one with a squeaky left mouse click though. The mouse feels great but the squeak is beyond annoying.

And yes, there's definitely an ironic joke about the mouse squeaking and what do I expect, etc etc. In all seriousness, if anyone has a fix (which doesn't involve cheese) I'd be most grateful..

Contact Logitech and see if their cs is as good as it used to be?

Dashboard shine, i.e. silicone spray. Also works a treat on baby buggy wheels and doesn't smell or attract dirt like WD40 does.

Had one of these for about 18 months - excellent gaming and general purpose mouse for the price.

One small issue if you have multiple PC base units and use a KVM switch; in common with most if not all Logitech devices the Logitech Gaming Software does not recognise the specific mouse/model 'through' the KVM switch, therefore you might as well save yourself the time and angst and not install it in the first place :(

Is this similar to the g700s in weight terms? I hate my g700s as I switched from a corsair m65 sabre rgb which sadly isn't compatible with my mac.

I find that its quite a light mouse (not a cheap feeling light). I actually replaced an M65 Sabre with this mouse after the middle click button died and prefer the weight / ergonomics of the G402

I'm still rocking my MX1000, still going strong probably 8 years old by now.

Good mouse have got it.

Is it worth getting this one or wait for a sale on the G303? I play mostly MOBAs, fingertip grip.

G303 has one of the best sensors, the same as in G502. Wait till it will be available on Amazon or PC world for £29.99. Or you can wait when the latest addition of Logitech G pro mouse, they will reduce this one day
