For a guess because those who know why these are better than an one for all type remote want something higher up the chain like a Harmony One and those who don't think "but you can get *insert naff cheapo brand* for less".

Would have preferred my silver one to be black, but then mines got a screen and you can program any remote using the ir receiver on the bottom.

I've had this remote on my Amazon wish list for a while now - they have it a £26.

I was temped to buy it but had a look on Ebay first and noticed there were a few duff ones, so I checked Logitech's own support forum there are lots of posts about it going into some kind of fault mode where all four device buttons flash at once and it stops working.

There is one thread in particular where a dozen people are claiming this has happened to theirs, with NO RESPONSE from Logitech at all!

Puts me off a bit, even at £15.

I've ordered on today, can't complain at that price as the next cheapest one is £35.

would be funny if it turned off everyone's guns, the tv's in the foyer and lights and set off the alarm

Oh dear, that doesn't look good. I bought one for a mate's Christmas present (I've got a Harmony 555), so hopefully they work out a fix before then - at least Logitech say they're working on it.

Up to £17.99 now, still a good price, these are over £20 everywhere else.

Can't get mine to work - it starts syncing then stops with an error - tried two different PCs with the same result.

My uk spec 300i works a treat, maybe the 300 import is slightly different

Have you tried different browsers, it would not work with google chrome for me. Also it looks like it creates a VPN to logitech, so firewalls might be your problem.

Logitech are doing 30-day money back guarantee on all remote bought during this period, just register on the product on their website.

Yes tried three different PCs and used IE8 - I'm not disabling my PCs firewalls or AV to try and get a remote control to work.

Guys, would this work on the PS3 from a Blu Ray player perspective? I was going to get the PS3 remote for £25 but if this will work then its a no brainer? Advice please, thanks!! :)

You'd need a PS3 bluetooth adapter, perhaps like this one? But that would work out more expensive than just buying an official Sony PS3 remote as it's £37.20!

Just buy a cheap IR PS3 remote and program the Harmony to use the dongle that comes with it, won't cost you more than £5-£10 or less than £2 if you can still fnd one in Currys etc., works perfectly.
