Nice find

Not the easiest remote in the world to setup, but well worth it when you do.

Very good price.

Excellent remote bought this when it first came out, cost me over £140 and is still doing a mighty fine job, would recommend to anyone who is sick of having lots of different remotes. HOT!
#4

#8

I love my 525! In fact, I just finished setting it up to control my PS3! :)
Not sure of the biggest difference, but Li-Ion batteries and charging station must be a big plus!
#11
Thought I'd buy 6 to replace my existing ones (not)
#12
Excellent find! I've been after a Harmony for ages.
#13
£66.49 if you use the RAC 5% code.

I've had this remote for about a year now, and it's brilliant!

Mine controls my TV, Sky HD, 360, surround amp, HTPC, stereo amp, and tuner!

Best thing about it is the one touch start, which will turn on all of your required components with just one button press, and turn them all off in the same way, i.e. when I press 'Watch TV', it turns Sky on, TV on, surround amp on, sets the TV to HDMI1, and the amp to TV in, perfect.

Great remote control, good deal!

They can be a real bitch to setup, the Logitech software is awful. I have never managed to get a perfect setup, but they are better than a bunch of remotes.

Jesus - £70 for a remote control?! What does it do, make you a cup of tea whilst you are watching Eastenders?

I have 12 pieces of kit under my TV that requires a remote. Thats 13 remotes. I have not picked up one of those 13 remotes in over 2 years due to this harmony.

Plus the wife can use it too. It rarely goes wrong and when it does its easy to fix.

If all you have is a 20" TV and a tevion DVD player I doubt you would need one of these. Plus there are cheaper models that do the same thing.

Hehe nice one Delboy :-D

My mate has the Logitech Harmony One which is brilliant but still £140 :x
If this will turn on my PS3 I want it

Don't see why not, it's infinitely programmable through software, so should perform any sequence you ask it to. :)

hot ! hot ! ordered ! Thanks

How come I can seem to manage OK with half a dozen odd remotes?
#28
How programable is it?
Basically asking if you can use your old remote to program this one. Assigning IR code to buttons so on.
#29
Great find , Just ordered one !
#30
All gone now though! £110 now!
#31

There is still stock out there at comet stores.
#35
Had mine since 06 and its brilliant...
as for difficult to set up... I didn't find it so, it all depends on the individuali tems youre controlling I guess, but when I did have a timing issue the customer support was fantatstic....they actually changed my setup online with some timing changes and I then downloaded it..
Had some box changes, so I need to add another couple of items, but wouldn't be without it, and despite the missus initial comments on the price I paid.... She wouldn't want to go back now either...their were issues with not charging years ago, but I think they fixed those...

I must admit rf would be nice ;)

We always keep them in the same place tidily together, otherwise we'd never find them. Simple really.
#37
Good deal, Ordered one before they ran out of stock!

Thanks

Brilliant remote, easy to setup, easy to use (my kids managed to learn and use the control within 30mins).

Just to add, Logitech support is phenominal. Remote stopped working all of a sudden, so I emailed their support and received a detail solution to my problem within 30 minutes. The solution didn't work, and guess what, they sent me a brand new remote within 7 days (from Switzerland), and that's before I have to send the battery and the AC adaptor back (you don't need to send the remote as they just deactivate your faulty remote update).

There's not many large company that gives you this kind of support nowadays. As a result of this, all my products (or future products) will include Logitech as my primary choice.

If you can control your kettle with an IR command then yes, it could.;-)

Unless it's very new kit, all the IR codes are probably already defined in the Logitech database, but you can teach it codes from an old remote if required. I had to teach mine one command that was absent from the list.
