I do love a good remote but at that price I'd hope it'd make the tea during the ad breaks. :)

Of course this is actually a good deal, so heat from me.

I'm an ardent fan of Harmony remotes but have to agree this is just a little too pricey for a remote...

Shame as my Harmony One is looking a little battle scarred and worn now.... wish they'd upgrade the Harmony one with the coloured buttons from the 900 as i don't need the RF feature...

Same here. the H one only cost me £50 & that was hard enough to justify.

for £190 a bloody tv remote should change the channel by telepathy!

Join the club, had my 885 for ages and Logitech customer service is 2nd to none, but that is quite a bit of dosh that I can't justify. Not voting.

I have a 900 and it is superb. I had an 885 for about 2-3 yrs and was really reluctant to switch style when my 885 died and I couldn't get a new one easily. Doesn't take long to get used to and its functionality is great.

I was "lucky" however and got mine for £130 using a 50% off voucher from Logitech as my 885 was out of warranty when it died.

Awesome remote and good price. Ok its expensive on the face of it for people used to controlling just their Sky box and TV but for others who want to control their amp, surround sound, etc and maybe need RF capability like myself where all my A/V kit and Sky box, etc are all out of site its an awesome bit of kit.

No doubt I'll get some numb nuts telling me I have too much money just because I have one of these remotes such is the nature of the people posting commend on HUKD these days unfortunately so I await the abuse

I've got the 700 which is great as long as you don't need more than 6 devices - apart from that and the touchscreen it's pretty identical to the 900 in features.

Other than the RF wireless which is the main reason this remote is more expensive than the Harmony ONE.

Thanks for the heads up on this one, just saved me a bucket load.
These remotes are like dishwashers, you cant manage without one, once you have had one. My 885 finally gave up the ghost after I wore the volume buttons out. I reprogrammed and swapped with the channel buttons, to buy me some more time.
Nearly bought a Harmony One in error before I spotted they dont have the all improtant teletext coloured buttons. Some more importaant these days with iPlayer, 4oD etc.
Cheers.

Complain to Logitech support about the volume buttons - if the remote is out of warranty they will give you a 50% discount voucher so you could get the 900 for £130.

Too right, particularly as they've admitted their mistake but putting them back onto all their remotes since.

That's true, I got my 700 for £45 using that. While RF would be a nice feature to have, it's not worth twice the price IMO, and most people could live without it I reckon.
