Logitech Harmony Elite Remote Control for £184.41 with free delivery

You can get it for £175 from a third party seller but if sold by Amazon, it will be very easy to return for a full refund should it not work to your requirements

Having looked on CamelCamelCamel, it appears it went down to £125 on Black Friday.

Shame. This would have been a good bit of kit at that price
We can only hope they'll do it for £125 on Boxing Day

Bought one for £125, just about to send it back!

Still clunky and a hassle to use.

Are these actually worth it? What's the back catalog of remote support like? Would this support Enigma 2 boxes like ZGemma?

Oh crap! I was hoping this would be the remote to link all my devices seamlessly.

It's well reviewed but I guess end user experience speaks the most :(

Definitely works with zgemma h2s and 2s. Can't say for all enigma boxes I'm afraid

Stick with the harmony ultimate. Much better than this newer version and a lot cheaper.

Would this be applicable to ALL Harmony remotes? All buttons like FAV, Record etc work? I have a h.2s and a Cloud iBox.

I've had one for several months and wouldn't be without it. I'm not sure how just pressing one button to operate 3 devices could be described as clunky!

Even if it doesnt map it directly you just have to manually add it by sending it from the original to the Harmony. But you will be surprised how big their remote library is, I even used to use mine to turn my cheap air cooler on/off and change its speeds.

Yea all the Harmony remotes should work with it as the zgemma h2s is in the Logitech db library

Full functionality as pepp77 said but you can always reprogram buttons to your liking. It's apparently quite flexible

That's what I summised from the reviews and write ups. But if I'm honest, I'm gonna probably swerve it. It's pretty cold in here :D

Thanks mate. I looked at the Ultimate but figured if I could get the Elite for fiver mode it was worth it. Evidently not

Thanks again. I'll wait for a price drop cos it's at £120 currently

of course people experiences will vary. I have been using harmony remotes for years and setup has never got any better. if you use a device with only power toggle codes you are constantly hitting the "fix" button. if it's an RF/WiFi remote you can't train buttons.

I have just bought a Samsung TV that has a universal remote functionality which i assumed would be awful, it's not, it's amazing!

it recognised what was connected to the HDMI ports and setup the remote codes automatically. I can now use the one remote for everything, it changes automatically to the device I'm using getting the power states right every time!

so now I can use my 6 devices with one small remote without having to do anything! that was just a feature of my TV and didn't cost me £130 and functions loads better.

so yes, harmony is clunky.

Does your Samsung TV change inputs on an amp? I'm intrigued by your solution as I have also always thought the 'one remote' function of a TV would be poor.
