these are great keyboards if you have a lunge htpc for XBMC or similar....I bought mine at full price and am very happy with it....not for everyone though...have some heat

To expensive

Then don't buy it then!

I've been keeping an eye on this for months and this is the cheapest it's ever been.
cold, still too expensive. can get wireless keyboard and mouse for half of this price easily...
Rather get Bluetooth at this price, WiFi keyboards should not be in this price range I account of their unreliability. Particularly Logitech.
still abit expensive
To expensive

Then go out and buy a cheaper keyboard, plenty of options.

For the target audience this seems to be a bargain if you ask me. I wasn't even aware that there was anything higher up for living room use than the K400 with Logitech. I miss having backlighting on my keyboard since moving to the K400 but the weight of the Logitech is not to be sniffed at and it is more reliable than my old model. I think I have a new model to upgrade to now in the K830.
Having bought one of these keyboards in May, I can vouch for the quality of this product, and for the fact that batteries last long between recharges. If this is deemed too pricy, they K400 is a close substitute (less a few features- mainly rechargeable batteries, backlighting and a slightly worse layout)

The key issue from my perspective is the fact that the keys are flat, rather than concave. This results in more typing mistakes, although it's not the end of the world for a lifestyle keyboard.
I'd noticed the price dropped this morning (have been watching out the past couple of weeks) and purchased. Flubit came back with £51.93, but decided to keep my Amazon/Mastercard £5off order
May be expensive, but a decent back-lit is what I was after
........a lifestyle keyboard.
Ahh that's why it's so expensive then,
The ad men saw you coming.

I stand by my words ;)

This is no buckling spring keyboard as what IBM used to make (now sold by Unicomp), or even a Thinkpad T/X keyboard, and I'm not sure it is designed to last decades of intensive professional use. This being said, for something to be used in a living room, surfing on a projector or TV, this is the best solution I've found
