I was looking a these speakers on amazon today, anyone got them, any good?
#2
there is 54 reviews on amazon but from someone who has bought a lot of speakers in my time it is true that you get what you pay for.if you like serious sound forget these.
#3
Got these speakers myself around a year ago for 20 quid.
I use them for music, pretty decent sound.
However, don't expect anything groundbreaking.

Decent speakers, definitely recommended at this price.

exactly same story here. Got one last year for 20 quid from ASDA and they are good at this price. Nice and decent sound. Highly recommended if you are tight on budget

Good Price for a Logitech Speakers
#12
hot from me. i'm on a budget - these will do nicely. thanks OP

is this really that hot at £3 off? if so I'll grab some as the ancient 5.1 set is giving up the ghost but if the RRP is sub £20 I expect these don't pack much punch? I'd just use for the occasional fps session but the wife pops music on on the pc sometimes....
#14
At this price these will do nice for my daughter comp in her bedroom and the ones she have now will be ok for her laptop .

Normal price for these is around £18 so a 30% saving on that price is quite good. Not forgetting free delivery also.
I dont think these will knock your socks off but it'll surely be a slight improvement over normal tv speakers.
#16
Yeah not talking about TV, I've just done the best part of a grand on that ;) Just for PC usage (with the wife popping the odd song on while she cooks etc).

Its 13 quid, take the plunge :p

I've used these and they're just above the 'cheapo' 5.1 sets you can buy for around £15, so in my opinion represent good value, especially given the price including delivery. In reality you're probably getting these for about a tenner with the discount code as it still costs them to deliver the goods. In fact, I've just ordered these! Voted hot.

think I'll plump for the x-530 deal at £36 myself looking at it...

[edit] not saying this isn't a good deal, the x530 set just looks to be a lot better. That said it's almost 3 times the price, or 'only another £20', whichever way you choose to look at it... [/edit]

These were supposed to be £30 when I bought them. Got them for £15 and I think they're great. Asda are selling the speakers without the subwoofer for £20.
#21
wow room shaking sound from these!!!

X 530 are listed @ £69.99. They are good. I bought them from PCW 2 years ago for £28 ! Have recently bought 2 sets of X 540 direct from Logitech. (Still boxed and unused and available for sale if can collect in London) Check if Logitech still on Quidco as is PCW. OFFICE15 code seems to work on speakers only (have not tried everything).

With the subwoofer these are definitely loud enough to annoy the neighbours.
#24
no home delivery anymore...only r&c
#25
Paid £15 for them in Asda about a year ago as I needed a set of replacement speakers. Still have them to this day, they are surprisingly good at this price and they look fairly smart on the desk too.
#26
nice deal! too bad the home delivery is sold out and i live nowhere near a pc world :(!

£45 at Amazon with a 20% voucher code too = £36.

I'd take the 540's at that kind of price but doubt you'd let them go for that.
#28
Have an older set of these , only drawback was the lack of bass adjustment as the sub is a bit thuddy . Stuff a sock in the airhole , fixed !

Whats the Amazon 20% voucher code ? As you see the X 530 "normal" price is around £70 but at the moment £45 direct from Amazon. If you can get them for £36 that would be a bargain, grab them before the price changes ! They tend to be bass enhanced and sound best with music and films or TV with a heavy atmospheric soundtrack. If you like TV such as C.S.I. you will like the X 530 s sound. The X 540 s "normal" price can be about £110 and available for around £70. My X 540 s are sealed box, new and unused and I couldn't sell them for less than £50, a bargain ! Both models have 3.5mm plugs and an adapter so can be used on anything with a 3.5mm socket.

like I said, I'm just looking for PC speakers. I've something far more heavy duty for proper usage ;)
#32
Can you use the voucher for [email protected]??
#33
they are not to bad but they really are noisy i still have them but i would never buy them again lol
#34
these are utter garbage. that is the only reason they are cheap. they look allright but the sound sucks
just a heads up :)
#35
My speakers arrived today and tbh people are talking crap. These speakers are excellent quality and the subwoofer produces amazing bass
#36
i hooked mine up y'day.
feck - that's some decent sound.
glad i bought
#37
I still have not received mine yet...
