It has a 3.5 mm jack plug. So yes you can connect this to an iPod or another MP3 player:

Got these from WH Smith for £19.99

Sound is ok but not very loud. Works on any 3.5mm jack device.

The Sony ones I had form PC World sound better and they were only a tenner when on offer.

Got these for my wife and they are fine for her on her laptop...surely you guys are not the stupid to expect to much from £18 speakers!

Don't waste your money folks....

This is a terrible piece of kit

I bought it for my laptop........ when plugged in the sound was lower and worser then my laptop and the wires tangle up everywhere

Got it stored away in the attic now and soon to be thrown out with the trash

Must sound pretty bad then, as laptop transducers are dire.
Did you store it in the attic hoping one day it might sound better ? :)

I use these with my 360 on my 23inch widescreen TV (default sound is v.tinny) and they improve the quality vastly - as long as you don't expect cinema quality sound of course!

my boyfriend got me these last month for my birthda as I wanted new ones for my PC. sound quality is good and better than what I had before - however....

the volume... is RUBBISH. Much quieter than my old ones. Put it this way - at full volume I can talk to someone sat elsewhere in the room. So not what I'm looking for. Don't wanna hear myself THAT well when i'm singing along to my music...

I'm gonna need to buy myself some decent speakers. Then I'd just use these on hols or something, for the iPhone for music.

For the price seems OK but I would spend a little more on something better.

For those complaining about the low sound output levels, you should install the FFDshow filter, then open the audio decoder volume page and boost the volume setting to your desired levels, it fixes the problem. Overall these are quite excellent sounding speakers for the price.

Im getting a gaming monitor for my ps3 and im wondering if these would connect to the ps3 caus my monitor has no speakers and these look awesome
