Just bought mine today. I've been looking for a replacement for my rubbish Belkin wireless keyboard and mouse for a while.
I've got no complaints so far. Heat & rep. added.

Wow a PC World deal, lol.

Can see the point of a wireless mouse but why Keyboard?
Does the keyboard eat batteries?

The batteries in wireless keyboards usually last for months. I've had an LX710 keyboard/mouse set since Christmas and I haven't changed the batteries in the keyboard yet.

How about the mouse though? I'd be tempted as I've currently got a Logitech EX110 and while the keyboard is fine for batteries, the mouse definitely eats them! I seem to have to change the mouse batteries at least once a week, sometimes more often. I don't leave the PC switched on 24 hrs either.

I have this and am very pleased with it. Install the driver software and you can customise to launch all your fave wesbites and applications.

Batteries not been too bad so far, through one lot of mouse batteries but you can switch it off between uses which is handy to conserve them (just have to remember to do it!).

The EX110 is the set I had before I bought this one. It came with my Dell PC and the mouse battery life was absolutely dire. I always use rechargeable batteries with mice (2700 mAh) and I'm getting over 2 weeks of battery life with the LX710 mouse and my computer is left on nearly all of the time and I never switch the mouse off (it has a power button on the bottom, unlike the EX110 mouse).

They should price match for 7 days after your purchase. If you can be bothered to go back, they should give you the difference back.

Anyone know the range on this? I'm hoping to control from bed which is about 2-3 meters away from the computer?

Thanks

According to Logitech it's 2 metres, but I've tested it from about 4 metres away and it works.

Cool I'm picking this up then.

You know you've hit the future when you can browse in your boxers from bed!

Thanks

What batteries are people using to only get 2 weeks life on the mouse? The batteries that came with this lasted just over 4 months for me in the mouse, used for about 8 hours a day, left on 24/7. Keyboard has lasted 10 months so far, and the battery is still listed as "good".

Good price, only complaint about this set is the mouse is pretty laggy, don't expect to be able to play games, or do high-precision design work with it :p
