Why would I want to spend almost 3 times the price of an M180 on the M505?
It's a serious question btw! Does the M505 offer any more functions? (i.e. buttons for going "back" or "forward" whilst browsing, etc...).

If the difference is just ergonomic I don't see the point in paying the extra.

For me its the unifying receiver - just bought two M505 mice - thanks loopie - one each for home/work. Can fleabay the spare receiver for £10+ too if you don't need it...

Lots of differences but I was interested in Laser not optical, & upto 15 month battery lifetime not bad for under £15.
