Just ordered one of these, I've been looking for a bluetooth speaker to go with my asus transformer for a while. I'd never heard of these until this afternoon.

As far as i can see, the micro usb is for charging only. I can't see any other connection except for the 3.5 jack
If it can be mains powered i'll let you know when mine arrives

Yes, what swayed me towards the Boombox was that it had a rechargeable battery built in. I have a Tecknet charger that i carry with me to keep my phone charged so i can plug it into that if needed. The d100 takes 4xAA batteries, Reviews on both were favourable and the boombox is smaller and much lighter

13p more (£44.99) - but you can reserve and collect in store in 1 hour if (like me) you're too impatient to wait up to a week for Amazon's Free 3-5 day delivery
For anyone who has / had both, Would there be a noticable difference in sound quality and volume?

Also USB rechargeable and supports mini-jack connection for devices that don't have bluetooth.
I can't really fault it, well worth the price if you want a 'travel' speaker.
Highly recommended, though personally I'd just pay a few pence more and pick one up in Curry's/PC World for the sake of avoiding waiting in for the postman.
