Wow, that's quite a saving.
£734.62 off.
Fixed my typo now... :p
Beat that price in my post yesterday! :)

Has anyone managed to find this behemoth of a mouse any cheaper?
The best price I've managed to find so far is £63.75 (£57.00+£6.75 P&P) from Komplett.co.uk.

Also, has anyone left handed bought it? I currently use the MX700 and find it perfectly comfortable yet i'm rather more skeptical about this one!
£65 for a mouse!!!!:-(

You'd have to be mad to pay that much for one....my wireless optical mouse cost me £6 !!

I can't remember how much my MX700 cost me but I came to the conclusion that i'd buy good tools for the job in any field of work, so as a designer stuck on a computer for fifty hours a week (not to mention the additional leisure time I spend in front of a monitor) why not spend a decent amount on a mouse?

My colleagues still use the bundled Mac optical mouse which I thought was perfectly adaquate for over a year, yet now i'd never go back to using it.

Not at all!! You'd have to be mad not to pay that!

The mouse is the one thing you come into contact with 99% of pc use, its essential its good. Laser mice are FAR superior to optical mice resolution wise/responsiveness/accuracy etc etc. Rechargable docking wirless mice are far superiour to wired or ones you have to buy batteries for every few months. A comfortable mouse is ESSENTIAL as RSI is really a bad problem and can cause all sorts of issues after using a mouse for years. Oh and the last thing I can think of, cheap £6 mice generally feel cheap, and aren't as durable.

I have the MX700 mouse, cost about £75, had it 3/4 years now (I think) and its still in the condition and accuracy it always was, an absolute godsend, and my wrist is still fine! :p Imagine how many naffy £6 mice I would have gone through and how uncomfortable my computer use may have been? Well worth the extra! Esp if you game and need accuracy for those sniper shots
Thanks to MBeeching and nrps1 - I completely agree with you guys, that's why I posted this deal. I must spend about 50-60 hours a week holding my mouse, so no way I'm paying £6.99 for something that I use so much.

Also I've spent about a grand on my PC, and having inferior input devices would just be silly...

And sniper shots are important too... (!)
deal ends 4th october so be quick!
Crickey, 65 quid for a mouse... I feel sooooo old-fashioned now with my optical wired trackball :(
I don't know how you use a trackball at all Kommunist, I could never get the hang of those! Wireless laser for me (until something better comes along, like psychic mice...or retinal tracking...!)
Well.. once you get used to it then it is really hard to switch to normal mouse :) I have trackball at home and also at work. My team at work also made laugh at me when they saw one. But then... guess what? they are all using trackballs now :)
This has now gone down to £52.18!!
