Do I need to describe this mouse?
It is old, but it is still one of the best mice out there for gaming, plus it is pretty much half price!

Excellent mouse, no worries after years of use - the Logitek logo has long since worn off!
#2
Amazing mouse, using it right now. The best mouse I have ever used and that is a brilliant price =D
#3
perhaps its time to upgrade from my trusty mx510...the 518s predecessor
#4
was an excellent mouse a few years ago, but I've moved onto Razer...Imperator is so much better than this, but this is hot for the price!

I have this and a G5. I prefer the G5 but I know plenty of people who use this and swear by it. £18 is a bargain.

3 yr warranty too and Logitech are usually pretty good with replacements. Keep your receipt though.

Using one myself at the moment....

Heard this is a great mouse.

Use a Razer Diamond Back 3G myself, but may just get this as a back up as this ones been going for 3+ years.

Best mouse i ever owned.
#14
Great mouse had for 3 years or so now and no sign of problems! the side buttons and sensitivity change at touch of a button are all brilliant features.
#15
Great mouse. I paid a lot more than this 2 years ago
#16
Excellent mouse, can't recommend it enough.
#17
Great Price for a great mouse!, had one of these for a long while before I got a Razer Copperhead. No problems with comfort on long sessions of CSS with this.

Note* this wont make you instantly better at gaming! :P

Awesome mouse, i've had my MX518 for ages, and its still the best mouse i've ever used. Just so comfortable.

Half tempted to buy another one and demote my old one to my work PC.
#19
This expired before I could pay for it. Now £22.49.
#20
Really, it still shows 17.99 for me. Can anyone un-expire?
#21
still showing as 17.99 for me. Ordered one at about 10am - and is now showing as packing.

I play alot of online shooters and was a pretty decent shot with my Microsoft Optical Mouse 2000 but that started playing up so I upgraded to this a few weeks ago and Wham! My Kill rate has gone up 3 fold! Its precision is amazing! With one flick I can get a headshot! Seems to know exactly where I want it to stop.

EDIT: And I payed £25 for it on 14th October and still think it was well worth it.

I like to think of it more as giving it a sibling to play with.

Great Mouse, Great Price. I thought this would be long gone by now as I have had mine for ages now. Great to see they are still going strong.

I might get another just in case mine ever goes wrong! Its not showing any signs of giving up soon though!
#25
great mouse, I use a 510 at home, superb!
#26
love this mouse and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it - accurate fast and reliable.

saying £18 is half price is a bit of a stretch as i got it for that 2 years ago and the average seems to be about £22 but great deal nonetheless
#27
great find! :D
#28
Had this mouse for years, brilliant product.
#29
are there any vouchers/codes we could use with this?

I suspect anyone looking at this thread already knows, but just in case...

This mouse is larger than a conventional pc mouse. I bought it about 6 weeks ago from Amazon (where it was cheapest) for about £24, but had never had or used a gaming mouse before, so I was surprised when I got it and found it was a good 1 inch longer and half an inch wider than my trusty emachines mouse.

That said, I don't have an issue with it and have been satisfied with it so far. It's currently on too sensitive a setting at the moment so I'm shooting anyone and everyone in Left 4 Dead 2 and need to go into the software to set some lower sensitivity settings that I like.

Everyone seems to say good things about this mouse, and this is a great price for it compared to what it has been.

I've had one for years now and it's the best mouse I've used, there may be better ones out there but it's worked flawlessly so haven't found the need to change or try others. I use a set of teflon mouse skates underneath on an Ice Mat, clean the mat ever so often and that's it. As noted above, it's a bit bigger than generic mice you tend to get with pc's but it's a more comfortable\practical size once you get used to it.

terry's june - I presume you are using the + - either end of the mouse wheel?, I just set my sensitivity as normal in games and windows and use the + - in game if I need to change it on the fly.

If only i had waited. I ordered Logitech Corded Mouse M500 from Amazon last night for £24.25. Never mind!! Heat

That's what I've done :)

Got the old one for work, and a new replacement one for home.

It still shows as 17,99, please unexpire. I just received mine, and it's a decent mouse. It's not perfect though, the scroll wheel is definitely jerky and it's a bit lower than my previous mouse, which takes some time getting used to. Other than the scroll wheel the built quality seems excellent though, especially for an optical mouse.
#35
Unexpire please!
