If I bought a logitech mouse would they both work of the one receiver? would they be compatible?

Superb keyboard - been using one of these for a couple of years. Battery life is optimistic though. I bought mine from Dell as they were selling this Pro2000 wireless keyboard and a MX620 wireless mouse for £30. It was called the Pro 2800 then. The range is as good as they say it is so I've just ordered 4 of these for stock. I would also like to know what wireless mouse will work with the receiver.

You can connect a whole load of Logitech devices using one unifying receiver.

No. As it says in the description "Receiver and keyboard pre-paired at the factory". Same as my DiNovo Edge keyboard.

What I like about this one is that busy professionals are up and running faster, because there's no software to install. Professionals are always really busy, so not having to install keyboard software will make them able to be more efficient and productive! And that can only spell one thing - SUCCESS!

Got the following email from Logitech:

Thank you for contacting Logitech's Customer Care.

As I understood from your email, you would like to know if there are any mice that are compatible with the receiver from your Pro 2000 keyboard.

I am happy to help you answering this question.

Unfortunately, there are no mice available that are compatible with this keyboard model. This is due to the almost all current keyboards and mice are being factory pre-paired with their receivers. As a result, unfortunately none of the current Logitech mice will be compatible with the receiver from your Pro 2000 keyboard.

Not to worry, it's still an excellent keyboard. Just means having to use up another USB slot for a mouse receiver.

Anyone know if it's possible to use a wireless keyboard to control 2 PC's?
I did this with a wired keyboard and a splitter but don't know if a splitter exists for a wireless keyboard.
Thanks.

U can get kvm switchers etc, should work ok, but for free you could use software such as input director, synergy and countless others. As long as the 2 pcs are connected to the same router you can do it easily. I found input director to be the easiest program to setup. There are quite a few programs like this.
