RRP of £150!

Good God, I wouldn't even have paid 80 either, yesterday's Klipsch knocks spots off this.

(Cue time machine quips etc)

EDIt Ah sorry forgot this is portable so not a fair comparison

This is the last deal I am ever going to post on this site. Just completely wasted my time, people are so stupid. Why don't people know what this site is about and how to use it? The clue is in the 'Hot UK Deals' part of the title.

The fact is that these are the best portable speakers you can get for £69. It is also the best deal on these speakers you can currently get.

End of rant.

Thanks for posting. Try not to take the responses personally, sometimes people make mistakes and rectify them (like nobbyogden) and sometimes they are just trolls. Rule 1 of the internet: don't feed the trolls.

Good God man/woman calm down. I edited my comment. Let's reflect together; this ipod 'portable' system has been this price for almost a year from various retailers including amazon and misco and for the last few months at Richer Sounds so not particularly hot no matter which way you look at it. Although yes, the joint best price at the moment, but hot? No.

My deal I posted yesterday for the Klipsch also got slated and voted down by quite a few people before I even started getting any comments. I wouldn't so mind, but if people are going to knock deals and vote them down at least have the decency to say why.

Anyway my friend rant over, have some heat..

You're wrong. £69 is the cheapest price currently and the cheapest price I have ever seen. I went in Richer Sounds today and it was £79 though on their website it does indeed say £69.95 (which is still dearer)

It just riles me sometimes when people vote on something they are misinformed about. Or vote without reading or understanding what the product is.

Just because you haven't seen something cheaper doesn't mean it has never been so. A quick search on here shows Misco selling at 44.99 and Amazon at 69.99 so again, not a hot deal.

Incidentally, Richer Sounds famously honour their website price instore and also would have price-matched House of Fraser plus a further 5 pounds. So the hot deal would be Richer Sounds for £64.

Don't mention it.

I don't really mind. I just stumbled across it today while looking for the Logitech S715i and I thought that it was a really good deal on a nice bit of kit. So I spent 10 minutes uploading it to the site. Because it was the cheapest price for this in the UK I thought I was doing the right thing.

I guess I messed up.

Just wanted to say it really is a cracking dock. Sounds really good. Has built in batteries. Is portable. Is iPhone compatible.

How was that acting childish?
I think acting like a child or indeed a bully would be to post a comment like you just did. You just serve to highlight further why people shouldn't bother to post deals on here.
People who are just trying to help others find a deal, get trolled, abused and attacked so where is the incentive to post?
It's embarrassing that you feel the need to be so disparaging and offensive to others.

I'm also embarrassed that I can't resist feeding trolls, It's my Achilles heal :(

The Klipsch deal is good, and I have an earlier version which I paid a lot more for. Better thank Bose quality in my opinion.

Don;t worry about the odd negative reaction, you cannot please all the people all the time.

Thanks to both posters of this deal and the Klipsch one for sharing.

I like the sound and it's portable so there isn't much competition that's better but .... when the internal rechargeable battery fails (and it will sooner or later), it's **** to replace yourself because the screws holding the thing together are under the front panel which is glued to the body and you need to be handy with a soldering iron to re-attach a tiny circuit board to the battery tags. Logitech do not offer replacement batteries or fitting out of guarantee, how jolly green of them! For reference, the battery is item 290475533837 on ebay.

The whole debate is more interesting than the deal itself.
