Can someone tell me what the separate headset is like?
#16
There's a picture on the amazon listing here.

I just picked up two from Argos. Just a note, for two it was coming up at £35, so I spoke to the manager and showed her the print out from the online site and she gave me two for £25! :)
#17
Headset is just like a pair of MP3 player earphones, nothing to get excited over!

Anyway great picture using Windows XP, but cannot seem to make it work (or find drivers for that matter!) for Mac OS X :(

Got two of these yesterday and had a bit of hassle getting the staff at Argos to sell them to me for the reduced £24.99. After a bit of convincing ended up getting them for £23.95!

To be honest they weren't the sharpest tools in the box!

I run Vista but haven't had the chance to try it yet. From what I've found on the web they are meant to be compatible.

double post

Doh! I bought 2 as well and went in and paid £35. I'll need to go back and haggle, show the print out from the website. Hmm...
#23
Still £14.99, but the two for £25 offer is expired now :(

Voted Hot, bought myself one 15 minutes ago. the 1.3mp is software enhanced according to the box, saw a true 1.3mp one in LIDL can't remember how much (think 19.99). It is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures well pleased - Thanks Millarcat
#31
Thanks for that reserved one at Argos, picking it up tonight...
#32
took a risk and bought it and it does work with linux, hubby over moon keeps taking pics now instead of doing uni work. the pics are really clear even on low res. it also has a stick thing that you can put it on if you dont want it on top of your computer but to put it on the desk which is good too
thanks
#33
somebody please confirm it works with vista and ill grab 1:thumbsup:
#34
Well i called Logitech and they said it works with Vista but you need to download the driver and not install the disc it comes with?
See the link i posted earlier in the thread for the driver:)

I have just reserved one as my current logitech doesn't work with the new PC i have just got that has Vista.

Excellent information, thankyou

just bought one - looking good so far will let you know how it goes when its fully installed

for the poster who asked the question about the head set;
its tiny (if thats what you waant then i guess its a good thing)
like a set of ipod earphones

if you want something a little more comfortable try tescos headset - less than a fiver and they are pretty good!
