Bought some of these OEM as a present for friends (for c£13, probably from a HUKD here c18months ago). Unfortunately despite the excellent initial sound there was some wiring/connection/amplification issue that meant one channel cut out periodically - and despite them being OEM & my buying them in UK and friends using them in Italy, Logitech when phoned there just replaced them = me & friends very happy & impressed as everyone has occasional QC issues and they handled it SO well!

Logitech must be commended for their customer service.

Even though my mouse was outside the warranty period they responded to my complaint within a matter a hours, then couriered a brand new G500 mouse out the same day :w00t:

I have these speakers - purchased from Amazon for this price I believe (they then lowered the price by a pound or two, grrr, but must have put it back up!). They are good, but not amazing - the wire at the back if moved does cut out some channels - but when its in properly and still its fine.
One thing I do like is the size of the sub - nice and thin meaning it takes up less space, but still produces a good sound. The satellite speakers are a little too tinny for my liking, but at this price you cant really complain. I mainly use them for playing Call of Duty on the 360 and for this they are perfect!

These are very good for the price. I got them from eBuyer for just over £13 last November. The only small criticism that I would make of them is that they emit a noticable hum. You don't hear this when playing music but, it is a little annoying to hear it in the background if you are not. Voted warm as they have been cheaper. :)

the "hum" is definitely the only one bad thing about it. but it's not a problem

Merdan - I agree that the hum is the only problem with these excellent, little speakers. Maybe my speakers hum a little more than yours do or, perhaps I am more sensitive to the noise than you are but, I do find it mildly annoying so I unplug them when they are not being used which is probably a good thing as then they don't use any power.
Let's not forget though that these are very good speakers for the price.

P.S. They are still slightly cheaper at eBuyer (£16.98) but only if you are spending fifty quid and can get the free delivery.

I can only ever hear a hum when they are on (orange light showing) - do you still get the hum even when they are off at the volume control switch(rather than unplugged)?

Yes, mine hum if they are plugged in whether the orange light is on or not. It's no big deal though as it stops me wasting the ol' 'leccy.

And at Dabs its additional £3.50 delivery charge. Whereas the same product is available at amazon for £16.39. With FREE DELIVERY. That's £4.72 cheaper.
