I've been watching these for some time to complete my collection. I have two booms and 2 jogglers with squeezeplay.

This will be perfect for the kitchen and bedroom.

Hot price for an amazing product.

Good deal if you have a spare £100.
#5
Good price though the Boom sounds much better than this Radio model.

You don't have to use Amazon. Also at BT shop (3% Quidco)

Plus P&P - £5.09. Even assuming quidco tracks (which is never certain) it's still more expensive that route and doesn't have Amazons excellent returns process.

"Starting now, you can listen to music, news and sports from every corner of the globe, all without a computer. It's easy with the Logitech Squeezebox Radio. Just turn it on and tune in to thousands of free Internet radio stations, the hottest online music services, even your own personal music collection"

Can anyone clarify for me, can this wirelessly connect to your computer network(s) meaning you could play things from any of the computers in the house, in a seperate room? If so I assume the computers have to be turned on?

I've just bought a Pure Evoke Flow from Richer Sounds for £79.95.its sold as graded but mine didn't have a mark on it but came in a white box.

Might be useful if someone doesn't want to pay the £100 for this.

different type of device

can't speak for the radio, but I have the boom & a classic squeezebox and they are both excellent

If you have a spotify premium account you can even stream that through these.
#15
Much hotness! Will probably take over from my aging Pinnacle Soundbridge.

Looks like there are some good community efforts to bring Spotify to the Squeezebox here - http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 - it does require a PC be on to run the Squeezebox server though but not a problem here.

the "touch" is the one! waiting dor that to drop

You don't need the computer on to run the squeezebox server or any of the apps on this.Got one of these about a year ago, best thing for music I have.Got a Napster sub,and plays your own playlists or album selections.
Great price as well, only missing the battery and remote now

Most Jogglers go for £60-£80 on ebay (incl. postage), so its not much more for a Brand New Squeezebox Radio with warranty.

Also I have read that the Jogglers were unreliable (which is a shame as I was interested in buying one for this very reason).

I've got a joggler that has been hacked so that I can add additional Pure Internet Radio based ones, mainly international ones that aren't available by default. Can something similar be done on the Squeezebox? Is it as hackable? (able to add apps etc)
#21
I see this currently going for £114.99. Any extra information about how to get it down to the magic £99.99 mark?

My 2 Jogglers quite happily run Squeezeplay all day long. As long as you have a good strong wifi connection. It's one of the best gadgets I've ever bought.:D
