Bit dodgy with the pricing there logitech...

if you look for the product on their website, it comes up as £119. but if you follow this link it says £159 reduced to £69 !!

still a good price.

I picked these up last year sometime when they had a deal on them (I think through a voucher code from facebook), but they were around a tenner cheaper.

But great earphones and still a good price
#4
yeah dodgy rrp, but still decent enough deal
#5
Are they really better than Sennheiser CX400-ii?

got these when they were about £56 (can't remember the exact price) from logitech on a 1 day special. Really good earphones, sadly I lost mine. There is a lot of competition in the in ear monitors (IEMs) these days so wouldn't pay the rrp but £70 seems about right to me.

OOS. Expired.

head-fi.org is normally a good place for reviews. I find using google to search the site better than the internal search using "site:head-fi.org ue700"

yep when added to your basket it says out of stock

I got these on last years deal aswell, best earphones I've ever had, crystal clear sound. But then lost them on the tube to work one day, didn't want to pay full price. So bought a pair of Sennheiser CX 870 on sale at Amazon down from £70, absolute rubbish. Sent them back, and got these second hand off ebay only last week! Gutted these are now the same price brand new

For those who are wondering why this is at a lower price, this is the older version (Green and Sliver box, Part Number PN 985-000014) hence the lower price. The newer version (Black and Blue box, Part Number PN 985-000204) doesn't have the flight attenuator, different hard case design and slight difference in the ear-cushions provided.

Sound quality excellent. Build quality very poor.

I have a need for new in ear headphones but having tried numerous over the years I find the ones that fit me best have dual flange eartips.

So with that in mind can anyone recommend an IEM that comes with dual flange tips..?

best place to ask is on head-fi.org. You could always just buy dual flange tips for IEM's that didn't originally come with them.

How is the bass on these? I have the SuperFi 5 and although the fidelity is very high, the bass is lacking. Although I must admit it is very difficult to get a deep AND a proper seal with the SuperFi 5. Are these similar?

Not good! The sound is very good, however they are found wanting when used for listening to heavy bass music.

I bought these when they were previously reduced, these are the older model which if you read the reviews are actually better than the current model.

Also still in stock.

Ah thanks for the heads up mate. I am by no means a bass junky, but for the moment SuperFi feel unbalanced when listening to them without any EQ adjustments. I used to think that was because my SuperFi 5's were single driver only. Whereas these UE 700's are dual - so that leads me to think even dual driver earphones can have unbalanced sound?

Agree totally.

Got a pair as well. Build quality is shockingly bad for a pair of earphones at this price.

I also own earphones like the sennheiser cx300 (had these for years) and sony ex500 and never had any trouble.

The UE700's lasted me a couple of months and then the wire became exposed at the connector and the UE logo started to fade away. Logitech replaced them but I know the same will happen again!
