Review from amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Laser-Mouse-Laptops-Silver/dp/customer-reviews/B000FQCJVC/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&customer-reviews.start=1#customerReviews
The first thing that struck me about this mouse is that the lead is far too short. It measures 650mm (65cm) from the back of the USB plug to the front of the mouse. If you are left-handed and have USB ports on the left side of your laptop, or are right-handed and have ports on the right side, then this mouse is perfect for you. If you are neither of those or want to plug the mouse into the back of a desktop then frankly it is almost unuseable without a USB extending lead. I am right-handed and have USB ports on the left of my laptop. It is a relatively small laptop but the lead isn't long enough to trail around the back - it has to lay over the top of the keyboard! In order to get around this I use a USB hub which is on a long lead.

And the good points. This is easily the best mouse I have ever used. It is just the right size and shape. The contours fit the hand very well and the buttons and the wheel are in just the right place. The clicks on the buttons are very positive and are ideal for heavy users. The scroll wheel works very well and the sideways scroll is very useful when navigating large webpages or documents particularly if using a small screen. I cannot comment on the 'zoom' feature because I have not installed the software. The laser on the bottom is different to conventional optical mice. There is no red beam coming out of the bottom - in fact there is no noticeable beam at all. It seems to be more accurate and more responsive than standard optical mice and works well on any surface, even shiny surfaces that some optical mice don't like.

Overall I would highly recommend this mouse even with the short lead. I would have given 4.75 stars if possible. If the lead was twice as long I would have given 5. However the good points far outweigh this minor inconvenience. I would certainly buy another one and use it with an extender lead. If this is not an option and having the lead draped over the keyboard is likely to cause problems, then the wireless version would be a better option.

I've added heat.

Didn't realise the lead is only 65cm, even though it is mentioned for laptop, it might still be a bit tight (on the other hand no messy cables!). But you could grab an extension cable for a few quid on ebay. Nothing to complain at this price...

voted hot, good price.
Works very well with windows.

I have one of these for more than 6 months. Downside is very short lead and it is awkward to carry an extension around which make it bulky. It is mac compatible,my mac book ports are on left side while i am right handed, bit awkward, didn't realise when i bought it fr £19.99 in store @PCworld.

But good buy at this price, if USB ports of your laptop are on your dominant hand side.

Mouse looks good and very light weight very accurate.

I'll just get one for now. I bought a cheap mouse from eBuyer near the same price no brand and it works terrible on some surfaces.
#7
thank you I'm sick of my cheapo mouse
#8
Yep, bought one as well. Got to be done at that price - sounds great for travel.

Am I the only one that wants a mouse with a short lead? Long mouse leads nark me off.

Good mouse, although as others have said the lead could use being longer, perticullarly if your usb ports are on the left side of the laptop.

Might order one since I seem to have misplaced my existing one :x

Thanks, ordered one. Bought it for the Asus Eee PC. Small lead is perfect, I hate having long leads from a mouse all over the place. I'm right handed, Eee PC has USB ports on the right.

Hmm I received mine today, or rather I didn't as Morgan have sent me the wrong mouse and sent me a Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse instead, now the question is, is this better than the V150, I really wanted a laser too?
